I’m a huge Sean fan but I feel like it’s been known that he’s a boring fighter. There’s a reason why almost no one can engage with him due to his distance control and awkward style. His skillset makes it really hard for people to get a rhythm which makes people hesitant to engage and he knows it’s dumb for him to stay in the pocket and bang with a lot of these guys since he’s not as athletic as a lot of the higher level guys.

He said it didn’t affect his training camp whatsoever, Javier Mendez said the same thing. The camp went smoothly and Islam wasn’t on any antibiotics which is what makes fighters fatigue and feel awful like BSD. He said he didn’t train the week he landed in the US that isn’t part of the training camp . No one is training hard 2 weeks out of the fight anyways, and he said it didn’t affect him during the fight.
