Im so glad Brian Burke took over as the GM for the leafs, his moves are helping us move closer to a playoff spot and a stanley cup contending team. Im looking forward to watching the draft this month. As well as the free agency period!

VERY sad to see us lose, arguably one of our best PK men in Tim Brent but happy to see our new first line centre Tim Connolly come in. I think he'll be a great fit for 2 years and Kessel will hit 40 goals this year if he can stay consistent. I don't think Burkie is done with signings but we'll see. I don't think we're a playoff team yet until our prospects are ready to come up to the show. Next season will be an interesting one, to say the least. GO LEAFS GO! :)

I'm a Habs fan but I kinda like the Leafs, I hope they're finally ready to be an elite team. They have good defense, soon as they get a center, watch out for Toronto next season! :)

Every game of every year since I was 5, I've watched my Toronto Maple Leafs get ridicouled, beaked, ripped on, counted out, spit on, and disresepcted. For the last 11 years, I've watched every season end with heads down, frowns on and faces sad. Have I given up hope? no. Have I gotten angry? Yes. Who's going to tell me my team sucks? Many people. Who's gunna say GO LEAFS GO? ME!
Best fans ever, best loyalty, and the best fucking attachment between Fans and Team I've not only seen, but felt.

Kadri is 6'0 195lbs now. I really don't know how you can consider him a Bust. We rushed him into the NHL last year. he averaged nearly a ppg in AHL. Kid is only 20 years old and people already put pressure on him to be a top player right out of the gate, which rarely happens with players outside of the Top 5. Its things like this that are the reason Leaf prospects rarely ever turn out good.

there are a lot of hopes on the leafs...we hope the grabo line can do what they did and maybe more...we hope that reimer continues to win games for us..we hope that connolly can be that center kessel didnt have in toronto...the only for sure is kessel scoring 30+ goals. but if all of our hopes can become reality we will be in the playoffs and we will be a team that no one will want to face. They have potential plus good young players. I'm not a fan but I'm pointing out the obvious. Once this lockout is over, then judge Reimer. Phaneuf is a great leader and big hitter. And will see with JVR. Give them time and let's see what happens
