What’s the thickness over the opening for the blade? Will it except 2 1/2 inch thickness?
It only has a 1" clearance.

Yes. It will work good on fleece.
Will this cut fabric? Single?
It will cut fabric. But thin fabrics like cotton tend to shred.
can it cut 8-9 oz leather?
I cut through ten 1oz sheets of leather without any issues

Does it cut sequin fabric?
It will but it might get caught in the blade from time to time. I prefer to hand rotary cut my sequin fabrics.
Do they make this for lefties handed people?
Julia, this cutter can be used by either a left or right handed person.
Have you cut minky luxe or fur?
I have not tried cutting fur or minky. I have tried 100% and it snags.

Sewing4Madison so these scissors snags with 100% cotton? I’m debating on getting it or not but I will be cutting cotton...
In my experience this cutter is more for bulk cutting and woven materials like cotton and cotton blends fray in the cutter.
Could I use a zig zag blade?
Mine only came with a straight blade so I am not sure

Does this machine cut off normal skin efficiently
What do you mean by "normal skin"?
@@sewing4madison sorry, I mean leather in general , whether natural or artificial.
I use it to cut faux leather frequently. I can cut 10-15 layers at once for lychee. 5-6 layers of heavy glitter leather and 5 sheets of transparent PVC. The average thickness of my leathers are 0.50-1.00mm.

But its seems heavy thats yu cut It slowly
It's not very heavy and there is multiple cutting speeds. There are rollers on the bottom and it glides across the table easily. Speed depends on the type of fabrics you are cutting.
