I have a cat that tries to kill me when I put her into her carrier for the vet (she was feral as a baby). Then she plays dead the entire time the vet handles her (seriously she falls over like Mayo did, goes limp and then never moves again - no matter what the vet does to her! ). Once she's back in the carrier and I pick it up to take her home she tries to claw me to death through the carrier sides!! As soon as we're home she jumps in my lap and demands pets and kisses. Cats are NUTSO!

I love hearing you tell Mayo he's a good boy. It's crazy to me how much a cat can respond to vocal praise. I know how different cats and dogs are so for the longest time, I never really called my kitty a good girl because it seemed strange to do with a cat. But when I started saying it one day, she started actually listening to me and doing the things I asked of her! She would even come to me on command without ever being trained to do so.

I never understood why people don’t talk to their cats. I do it all the time and they love it. Mine chat right back at me, know their names, and often listen to what I want. Not every cat meows back but my baby girl trills and mrrs at me happily. My one boy even went deaf and so I make big hand gestures to get his attention so he knows I’m talking to it. I use some specific gesture commands and he still gets my meaning. Cats love being talked to.

My girl cat is a floofy spicy tabby like him. The problem with her is she will want love and pets, but only for a certain amount of time. If you pet her for even one second longer than she wants, she will rain hellfire upon you. The catch? You don’t get to know when that time is until it’s too late. 😂 And avoiding the pets all together isn’t an option either because she’ll scratch you for not petting her when she wants to be pet. She’s the worst. I love her. 🤣
But why is it such a torture though? There's like one animal on this channel who actually enjoyed it, and not because The Groomer treated him differently, he was just taught how to love baths.

@@misteral9045You'd have to desensitize them to water at a very young age. We did it with our newest kitten because he will be an outside cat and we learned from previous cats that sometimes that means a bath will be needed in the future. But it definitely was a process that most don't feel like they need to do, have a harder time with because the cat they got is older or are unaware of it being a possibility. 😔
@@lexa2310No, they don't need to be desensitized to water, you need to understand what it's like to be small and furry and in water. Perhaps you should stop designating what kind of cat your kitten will be and instead see what it chooses for itself. Or... you can take care of the cat and dry it off. You know what the beloved The Groomer says almost every episode? That leaving fur to air dry is what causes big mats, especially for thick coats with multiple layers. Huh. I wonder why most swimming cats are short hairs. What's Mayo? A Persian bred to have so much fur that he has trouble grooming himself? Huh. You people disgust me.

What I've learned after 30+ years of owning cats. It is far easier to get the cats to go into the crate if you put it out anywhere from an hour to a day in advanced of whatever appointment you need to take the cat to. And reward them going in with treats. It really makes life soooooo much easier.
Ofc, when cats are already conditioned to the crate taking them to dreaded places... it makes it a lot harder.
Very impressive how much you care and actually helped save the critter’s life. You are one of a kind, for sure. Thanks for sharing with us.
I find it a little strange, worrying, that the owner did not pay for their own cat's lifesaving treatment. What if she hadn't voluntarily paid the bill out of the kindness of her heart?
Also I wonder about how often and regularly they brush and clean Mayonnaise. Long-haired cats require a lot more grooming just to prevent mats from forming and to brush out shed hair. It's more unpleasant for a cat to have mats brushed out, than it is to brush them well, very often (so they don't form in the first place). Also getting them used to, and comfortable with bathing, is going to be better for the animal than having meltdowns at the groomers twice a year. The owner can make it a not unpleasant experience and ger their pet used to it, and keep them in better, cleaner condition.
With my dogs I always wiped their buttholes after each poop (they got used to it and didn't make a fuss) and I wiped after they urinated. With long haired animals you'll need to trim hair very short back there so it's easier to clean and prevent matting causing a blockage over the anus.
I grew up having to be extremely well behaved and never impose on others and to consider their comfort etc. before my own.
So I would feel awful about sending my pet to the groomers and then they scratched up the groomer's hands and caused bleeding. I feel it's important to train your pets and to get them comfortable with situations like going to the vet or to a pet salon. It's not only better for the people who work there, it's better for your pet so they can get treatment with as little fuss as little discomfort as possible.

My ragdoll got groomed for quite a long time and was usually a champ. But as he hit senior status the spiciness grew. One day the lovely groomer gave him back to my mom half done. No charge. Apparently he was just too angry and they didn’t want to upset him anymore😂❤ he’s 17 now and my dad just got his own clippers to shave out mats. The cat looks choppy as hell, but he is very happy lol. Thank you for caring for the spicey cattos!!!
I used cattle clippers on mine all she didn't get shaved was her head and tail 😂😂😂...I had 3 of them one never gets matted but the other ones get bad mats ...I only have two now one got run over
We have a 17-year-old long haired tortie and she loves getting everything shaved off. Cracks us up that even she doesn't want to deal with her hair anymore. But, it keeps her from having to groom herself, which at that age is tricky.
Poor senior kitties can't keep up with their selves, they get mobility issues and arthritis 😔❤
@clarabear501 the same thing happened with my cat. She was never difficult when she was young but now she is 16 and has arthritis. Most cats get arthritis when they get older and just like people it's painful. She gets a Solensia shot once a month from her vet along with a subscription for gabepentin for the pain. It has helped her tremendously and I would ask your vet for solensia and gabepentin.
@clarabear501 We have both a Himalayan and Ragdoll. We use a mobile groomer that gives them a bath and lion cut during the spring/summer . They both do good. The ragdoll tolerates it, and the Himalayan actually loves it. We bought one of those pet vacuumes that has a bunch of attachments, one being a brush . You basically brush, and it sucks up the hair. It's a total gamechanger with long hair cats and dogs. It even has a clipper attachment so you can trim areas and the hair just gets sucked up no mess or hair all over the house. We started doing lion cuts because we just could never brush all the loose hair up . I'd brush and brush and brush and brush it was never ending. Having the suction along with the brush gets every drop of hair . We have a borderline Zoo and it was just becoming so hard to keep our house hair free , but I'm telling you that petvac has been the best purchase of my life. So if anyone has long hair pets ( even great on short hair) you have to get one ypu will love it.

She saw an opportunity to help and was in the position to be able to because of her followers. In a way, we all helped save his life because we appreciate and support her actions by watching and making comments. I think she wanted us to know what a difference it makes. This is a fun and engaging channel that always makes me smile. I love reading the funny and positive comments people make, and I have learned a LOT. I feel sorry for people who can't appreciate it when other people share joy and try to sow negativity instead. Jesus The Messiah (Yeshua Ha Mashiach). Christ is our Living Passover(Our Living Sacrifice)
Acts Chapter 4 verse 12: "There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”
Isaiah 9 vs. 6, "For unto us a Child is born. Unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, *Mighty God,* Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.“
The Virgin Birth
Christ, born of a virgin, Mary.
Matthew Chapter 1 verse 20: "Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him (Joseph), in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for that (Christ) which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit."
Jesus, the Christ, is God’s Word made into flesh.
1 John chapter 5 verse 7: "For there are 3 that bear a record in heaven, The Father, The Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these 3 are one.”
John chapter 1 verse 1: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John chapter 1 verse 14: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
John chapter 1 verse 10: "He was in the world, and the world knew Him not.”
Hebrews chapter 4 verse 12: ”For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
John’s Vision Of Christ Seated On His Throne In Heaven:
Revelation chapter 4 verse 2 to 3: "Immediately, I (John), was in the Spirit, and behold a throne sat in Heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance, and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.”
Why did Christ Jesus came and sacrificed His precious life for sinners like us? Because through Adam’s disobedience, sin and death entered the world, and all human race. Christ came to undo the sin and eternal death brought upon the world through the sin of Adam. Christ, who is God’s Word made into flesh, sacrificed His life for us. He was crucified for our sins and transgressions. Christ died, and on the third day He resurrected in the flesh, conquering death and the grave. Now, Christ is seated in Heaven, at the right hand of Power (God the Father). Through Christ’s sacrifice we gain Salvation through God’s abundant mercy and grace. We are reconciled and recompensed back to God, through the shed blood of His begotten Son, Christ Jesus.
John chapter 3 verse 16: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans chapter 5 verse 8: "But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Death in Adam, Life In Christ:
Romans chapter 5 verse 19: "For as by one man’s (Adam’s) disobedience, many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s(Jesus's) obedience, many will be made righteous.”
Romans chapter 5 verse 18: "Therefore, as through one man’s (Adam’s) offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even through one Man’s (Christ’s) righteous act, the free gift came to all men, resulting in the justification of life.”
Romans chapter 5 verse 17: "For if by the one man’s offense (Adam’s offense), death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in the life through the One (Jesus Christ)."
Romans chapter 5 verse 12: ” Therefore, just as through one man (Adam) sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.”
Romans chapter 5 verse 21: “So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Through Adam, sin and death entered the world, so that is why Christ Jesus came to give life, and give it more abundantly. Yes, Christ came to give eternal life through Salvation. The Salvation of His shed blood, and resurrection.
Adam’s flesh brought sin, death, destruction, and condemnation.
1 Corinthians 15 : 21-22, “For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, all shall be made alive.”
Christ’s sacrifice, the crucifixion of His flesh, brings reconciliation of sins, resurrection, eternal life, salvation.
Christ is coming back again, not as a sacrificial lamb. He is coming back as a roaring, warring lion, to destroy sin, death, and the grave once and for all.

Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 to 13: "And behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.“
Now do you see friends, why Christ Jesus is so Important for our Salvation? Yes.
Now, do you understand why there is only 1 way to God, and that is only through Christ Jesus? Yes.
Christ is Salvation. Christ is our Lord and Saviour. Christ is the only way to God. Christ is the only Mediator between God and men (us humans).
God loves us so much, He does not want anyone to perish in hell. God wants all sinners to be saved. That is why He sent His Word to save the world. God’s Word became flesh, and dwelt among us to save us. Will you accept Christ and be saved? Your eternity depends on it. What happens after death is what is most important. Where will you spend eternity? Death is only the beginning of the next life.
Romans chapter 6 verse 23: ” For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
John Chapter 3 verse 16: ” For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Salvation is free!
Christ already paid the price, all you have to do is receive salvation through acceptance of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Massiach.
So who is Christ?
He is the Word Of God made into flesh. He is the Son of God. He is God. He is the Image of the Invisible God. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the Beginning and the End. He is the Great I Am. He is Emmanuel. He is the Christ. He is the Messiah. He is the Creator. He is our Lord and Saviour. He is our Mediator. He is the Lion and the Lamb. He is the Rock not cut out by human hands. He is the Root of David. He is Salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, and Life. He is the blessing promised to Abraham. He is the Gift of God to the whole world.
God created the heavens and the earth with His spoken Word. Did you know that Jesus is that Word, through which all things were created? Yes.
John chapter 14 verse 6: "Jesus said to him,” I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Colossians chapter 1 verse 15 to 16: "He is the Image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
John chapter 1 verse 1 to 4: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”
Christ is for all who will receive Him.
Will you receive Him today?
This is how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said we should pray. Matthew chapter 6 verse 9 to 13: KJV
“Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
Now that you understand who Christ is, share Christ with others. Christ is The Good News. What do we do with good news? We share it. Amen!
Repent of your sins. Leave a lifestyle of sin. Sin no more! Be baptized in Jesus Name.
Submit to God.
Love God with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit. Keep God’s Commandments, (read Exodus 20: 1- 17, see the 10 Commandments of God).
Love one another.
Forgive one another.
It is written, “resist the devil, submit to God, and the devil will flee from you.”
Hate sin with all your heart, mind, body, soul, and spirit.
* Hebrews 10: 26, KJV, " For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins."
Acts 11 vs. 15 to 16, ” And as I began to speak, The Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning. Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, “John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”
Psalm 68, verse 4 KJV: " Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, by His name Yah, and rejoice exceedingly."

It’s hard to take Mayo seriously when he’s being angry, something about such a big floofy cat swatting at the brush while growling is just so cute.
You'd take him seriously if your hands were bleeding from him scratching you. Honestly vet and grooming salon workers have to put up with a lot (noise and fuss), including injuries, in the line of duty. I am very appreciative of what they do.
As someone whp has had dogs, I feel it's an important responsibility to get your pets used to beimg in such places, and being comfortable with being handled, being bathed and brushed, being lifted by others etc. It's not just for the benefit of those people but for your pet so they will make less fuss and feel less stress. And it can all be done more quickly and efficiently.
