We arrived in Zurich then based ourselves in Luzerne.. explored Titlis, Engelberg, Lungern, Interlaken, etc.. We are from Australia and hoping to go to Switzerland in July (Covid and travel permitting) and would love to do both the Glacier Express and Bernina Express. Would you recommend both train rides? Is there someway to take luggage on these trains? How would we get from Lugano back into Switzerland without going the same way we came. Just did it at the end of last week but the info channel wasn't working. There were two music channels that did work (one was more traditional Swiss music). The crew presented the info only 2x even though the bells went off a lot more. I guess that they were busy with other things. We went from Chur to Zermatt only.

We're working on a Lausanne video now actually! Definitely check out the Olympic museum while you're there. You can also visit the Lavaux Vineyards and try some wine - they colors of the vines will be changing itll be stunning. Another suggestion near to Lausanne is visiting the Chateau Chillon - beautiful castle on the lake

Our plan is to rent a car from Zurich then go around Switzwerland..last city will be St Moritz..after that, we will go back to Zurich and return home. So, we're thinking taking short round trip with Glacier Express.

I don’t think the lake was all the way frozen just yet, but maybe later in the winter! This was filmed in mid December

The idea is to rent a Car from Zurich make the trip around but I am not shure because in zermatt I can’t rent a car for the return travel
You can't really see any of the bridges or viaducts while you're riding on the Glacier Express (if it wasn't obvious).
