Tybee Island, Georgia: a nuclear bomb lost here? 😲😬

- Tybee Island is a lovely beach community in Georgia, 20 minutes from downtown Savannah. It's so close that's actually considered the Savannah beach. The Tybee Island beach has 2 main areas: South Beach and North Beach. Close to North Beach, you'll find Fort Screven and the oldest and tallest lighthouse in Georgia. To see everything up close, make sure you don't go on a Tuesday like we did.
When you visit Tybee Island, take the chance to also stop at Fort Pulaski, on Cockspur Island. This is an impressive fort heavily damaged by canons during the Civil War.
About the missing nuclear bomb: it got lost in the ocean during a training exercise in the 1950s and it was never found. Apparently, it cannot detonate as it was not active.

Tybee south beach and north beach were amazing and downtown savannah looked so pretty.i had never heard of Tybee beach.so much too see and do there.very enjoyable vlog.Always very imformative and food looked nice and such a joy with you both.Living the dream.Thats what i hope to get back to living the dream when we get some sort of normality miss my worldly travels so much.

Tybee is ok. Parking, traffic and no dogs kill the vibe though.
Live most beach areas...they can be difficult to spend a day especially in peak season
You may want to get the America the Beautiful pass for all national parks at $80.00 per year

Where was the bomb located in this clip in Georgia
2 planes were doing a training exercise during the Cold War and there was a small crash. One of them carried the bomb, that fell down in the ocean just off of this island. Despite multiple searches, it has never been found 😬

Недавно слышал такую новость , что с 1 августа консульские отделения США в России , будут не способны выполнять свою работу ввиду недостатка работников из за ответных санкций . Что остаётся как только не смеяться над всем этим ))))
