    This 70L green monster backpack can take all that wildlife photography can throw at it. As a wildlife shooter, I always seem to run out of room for kit while out on long shoots. This is no longer the problem with this bag!
    This newest line from Shimoda has just been released after a Succesful Kickstarter campaign. Which I backed back in December last year. Now its finally here I could not be happier.
    This is the biggest pack; created to accommodate Shimoda's new DV Core Units (Large and XL).

    The Action-X70 accommodates larger Cine, Digital Video and DSLR camera kits. Its 70L of volume carries a lot of gear and is supported by an extra-plush and supportive removable belt and shoulder strap system. Like all Action-X series packs, it features an expandable roll-top that can quickly add 7L of volume to the bag. Two large side pockets are great for packing gimbals and tripods. The shoulder straps have two zipper sleeves to carry most phone sizes, plus accessories or a water bottle. The X70 also makes a great camping bag for photographers chasing sunrises in remote locations.
    The kit I use for my films. Some of these links are affiliate links others are not. This helps support the channel and my next adventures. Thank you!

    Nice review mate…Been looking at this for a while as I’ve recently got the Mavic 3 Pro which is a bit bigger than my old drone plus ive got the Mini 2 and Mini 3 and a D7200 and assorted lenses so was going to buy this along with the XXL core to fit everything in lol…!

    Excellent in-depth review which definitely sealed the deal for me. No massive lenses required though, so I went for X50. Thanks for uploading. Atb.

    Nice review -- no bag is perfect for everyone and every use.
    I "had to" buy this huge X70 bag and DV XL insert to be able to safely carry my 600/4 and tripod to locations. The X50 "might" have been able to accomodate my 400/2.8 - but golden eagles and the like need the longer lens.
    Until recently I used the GuraGear 32L bataflae bag I bought years ago for travel, but it is useless for walking and has only the minimum of padding/protection -- it is great as an insert or inside a hardshell case - but not great as a backpack. As added protection I suggest buying the horrible coloured Shimoda waterproof cover for the X70, which should have been in a matching colour AND FREE, but it only cost £15.

      Thanks man! Means a lot. But think I would not complain if I got it for free. But is a amazing bag. My only issue is it is a bit noisy. ✌️

      Glad it was helpful! It is a really good pack if you need to take alot of kit out on location. Still loving mine, just want a smaller version now to. ✌️

    The squeaks and why it matters are the kind of critiques only someone who knows what they're doing would comment on.

      @BenjaminSmail  Před 3 lety

      Thank you so much for the lovely comment. An can safely say the squeaks are not a issue now the bag has worn in over time.

      Thanks, Dustin! It is a Karlsson clock (Duch Brand). Think the model is a Charm steel wall clock. ✌️

    Hey Ben. Just got my x70. The frame on mine is not real tight around the core unit. Core unit kinda pops out a bit. Is such the case on yours?

    • @BenjaminSmail
      @BenjaminSmail  Před rokem

      I did not notice it at first, but I think mine has got looser as it has got more worn in. It pops out sometimes when I lean it against a rock for instants. I have the X50 and can say it's the same with that too, but maybe not as bad.

    Hi Benjamin: I have the X50. Do you have the same issue as mine for the ICU to keep on popping out of the bag's frame due to the items you stuff into the front zipper space which is pushing the ICU? There are times that I have nothing in the front section and still experience this issue. @19:04 "there" should be spelled "their" . Thanks.

    • @BenjaminSmail
      @BenjaminSmail  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks for the comment M Potter! I can't say I have had this issue. I am using the XL DV core and seems to stay in place when packing the front pocket out. I have not really overloaded the front pocket as of yet tho. Also maybe because the 70L is a bit deeper. Thanks for the spelling correction too, one always sneaks through! ✌️
