  • Video from 5/30/2020 when my dad finally got the 15hp stationary belt drive governor Woolery finished. Video shows the 2nd run of it & the carbs still needed adjusted. The thing is a beast; it rattles & shakes you like loud fireworks when it fires. Sounds like an old airplane engine running slow without an exhaust. My nieces had to get their earmuffs on for this one.
    For a big engine it starts easy, just back-kick the flywheel & it takes off.

    I bet they didnt make any money out of that patent, but a very nice piece of iron for sure. /Richard

      The engine runs nice & throttles steady now we have the carbs adjusted. That clip of it running in the youtube video above was only the 2nd time we had run it & things weren't adjusted yet. Underload it'd be steady power but I'm sure it'd need some mufflers.
