The dude should've gone to an evangelical church. He would have gotten away with it. The members probably would have given him more money cause they thought he was chosen by Jesus
Why would they put that much power into the hands of their leader. Lesson learned checks and balances are needed everywhere.
Everyone is focused on the church aspect but the real question is why would any type of property be transferred one individual's name? Ridiculous! He was not the owner. How was he able to do that? Who signed the papers?
Rolling the debt Is allowed by the government. Churches are funded by governments.
I'm just so thankful that this man has been caught and indicted, along with his cronies. I hope he's stripped of every title he's ever received and that every item he owns is sold at auction to repay the church the FOURTEEN MILLION he STOLE. There is just no reason for this and I'm so angry and so upset because it doesn't just hurt believers, it hurts non-believers who may never come to Christ because of his misdeeds. If he's found guilty I hope he spends MANY years in prison atoning for his sins and reading his Bible and figuring out where he went wrong and what has ended him up in a cell when he was once a trusted and loved elder of the church. 🤬🤬
