- Adopting Liam in China 2010 and meeting Katelin's Foster Mother. In October 2010 we travelled to China with our adoption friends, taking back our then seven year old daugther who we adopted from Hubei Province in 2004. We were lucky to visit her orphanage and meet her foster mother. Then we journeyed to Kunming, Yunnan Province, to adopt our son, then nine months.What an amazing adoption journey we have had and how blessed we are to have our two precious children.
