  • What are sentence fragments and complete sentences? In this video, I'll teach you how to form complete sentences with subjects and verbs. I'll also teach you about sentence fragments and what we can do to fix them. It is easy to spot a sentence fragment if the sentence is missing a subject, verb, or predicate. However, there are difficult sentence fragments that do contain subjects and verbs, but they do not express a complete thought.
I'll also talk about when complete sentences are missing a subject but are still considered complete sentences because they make a command. At the end of this lesson, there will be an 8-question quiz where you need to identify and correct sentence fragments.
A sentence fragment is an incomplete sentence that is missing a subject, predicate, or both. A sentence must have a subject (who or what the sentence is about) and a predicate (what the subject is doing or what is happening to the subject).
Sentence fragment example: "Running to the supermarket."
This sentence is missing a subject, and it's unclear who is running to the store. To fix this sentence fragment, we could add a subject, such as "I am running to the supermarket."

My daughter wrote in a text that I didn't ask her what she doing. Instead of responding to my message.
She wrote. I'm helping Dad to pack.
That's a complete sentence BUT it's not to me.
    My text would say
Dad is going on vacation in Georgia and I'm helping him pank his clothes.
