Em has 3 Alter Egos Eminem who’s serious about his craft the MC ,Slim Shady the crazy barred out psychopathic lyrical murder that takes no prisoners and is hilarious & Marshall Mathers the man behind the music that pulls at your heart strings🙌🏽🐐🔥💯
Great way to put it!!!
Dont forget a leftist cry baby and sellout, who forgot his roots, the second a "someone" was elected, and he became such a righteous man, who went from "killing his mom" to be being a SJW...
You also have B Rabbit.
@@giovannigio3764 only for 8 mile
@@MasteRgamer-mk5bp If you look good he is also in one of Em's songs.
I can believe more in the existence of UFO than the fact that you are hearing for the first time "Without me" by Eminem. :D
Don't be so surprised, I discovered Eminem 2 years ago, to be fair I had listen to Lose Yourself a couple of years ago, but for me it was just a song, I didn't know anything about the artist, didn't understand the lyrics so I don't think it counts.
And over 2021 I falled on Eminem's rabbit hole. And a lot of people where I live don't listen to Eminem or don't know him, mainly 'cause they don't speak english.
But I think I get what you saying, it's weird that americans (I think they're americans) never heard of Eminem.
@@traduzindo_shorts You don't look that young to me, and I don't know from which country you are, but me being 31 (and Bulgarian) it's hard to imagine, for example, 20 years old person, not knowing Eminem that much. Not knowing his All time greatest hits. When I look at it - That's what you call "times change". And it's weird feeling. The feeling of being/getting old. Because I feel like it was a couple of years ago when Eminem blew up with these songs. And that gap that he had, not making any music because of Proof's death, after the gap when he started putting albums again, it's like the second part of Eminem's life making music, and I think maybe you (and the young generation) are best familiar of just that period of Eminem's music career.
There’s only going to be more and more people who haven’t heard these songs why is that a surprise
UFO:s are real tho.
I feel like if you’re in the millennial age range.. then you’ve 100% heard this song or you’re lying lol.
Eminem literally took over MTV during this time
Due to radio programming. Not like his music was actually good 😂
@@johngreen6521u sound CRAZY!!!😂😂😂
@@johngreen6521 breh
@@johngreen6521best selling hip hop artist but he’s so trash make sense
Korn got a ton of play at the time too. And sadly so did all the girl and boy bands as well as Britney and Christina.
I'm not a rap fan, I grew up in Ukraine during soviet era, now in Canada. But this song is fire, the chemistry between Dre and Em is crazy. Love it, love your reaction.
Eminem is the only one that makes rap good. Nobody will ever top him
@@SimbaEdits77 there are many other great rappers out there who are worth listening too, but yeah he is on another level
@@bilp_bloup_bot i agree
Tv back then was AMAZING!!!!!! Miss the 90’s EARLY 00’
This is actually the first Eminem song I ever heard when I was like 9, loved it since the first time and became an Eminem fan then, he’s still my fav rapper till this day and im now 31
older than me haha xD
Mine was Kim 😆 I was around 10 and I'm 31 now
Em is a master story teller, it all ties in to his life as he sees it. He's now 50 and rappin out his tough life
This is literally my favorite Slim Shady song. I bump this constantly. Lmao
I’m here after Houdini !
I remember at least in Mexico, this was aired, along with everything else from the era, no censorship, we were happy and didn't know it
Shady brought a unique sound to hip hop ✌️🔥
Not really 🤣
@@mambutuomalley2260 the entire reason he blew up was because nobody was doing what he was doing at that time, constantly talking about drugs, killing his wife girlfriend and mom lol, robbing people, and nobody was doing that and if you look at modern rap thats 90% of the music now LOL
@@peik_haikyuu2265 "Nobody was doing that" 🤣
@@mambutuomalley2260 L
Yes it was on Mtv. There's EM, slim shady, and rap boy, and many more. The song is full of current references for that time, they may not make sense now. Like chasing Bin Laudin around...
This was like the most played video on MTV at the time, impossible to get away from it.
Not only did it air on mtv it won multiple awards on their network lol Eminem may as well owned MTV from 99-03
There was a time when Walmart and Kmart pulled Eminem's CDs off the shelves because of the lyrics and kids were buying them without parental permission. In the end he just had to slap a parental advisory label on the front (as seen in the video) to get them back on the shelves.
His double take at "fuck you debbie" while he's dressed like his mum will never not kill me 😂😂😂
My mum's best friend was called Debbie. I used to listen to this album on loop when I was like 14 and she always complained lmao.
This track is a masterpiece. A lot of it went over their heads.
I remember Christmas day when I was 5 my parents had a CD player that could hold 5 discs. 4 of the discs were Christmas music and the 5th one was Eminem but my mom didn't know it was in there. We made it through all of the Christmas songs and Eminem started playing and I haven't seen that CD since. When I turned 16 I bought a 2002 VW beetle for $1000 and in the disc changer was Eminem - The Show which has this song.
To answer yes it aired on MTV but the show he was parodying The Real World was a reality TV show that was on MTV. They put strangers in a house and tried to cause conflicts.
I remember when this video came out on MTV
You heard , eminems ," criminal ".
"We're just mammals, let's do it like they do it on the discovery Channel". Was one of the first "dirty" songs I listened to while in grade school.
best rapper of all time
This video was on Tv ALL THE TIME
This is the exact video I watched on tv when I was a kid
How does someone go through life never hearing without me? Even my 66yr old mum knows (and likes) this song!
Fr
This video made my day 😂, Eminem is the goat. Eminem was straight trolling on this song 😂
This video played endlessly. You had to not have had a pulse to have missed it
For some context, his CD was one of the first to receive a warning sticker. The program was pushed by Dick Cheney's wife.
This vid still 🔥🔥🔥
The amount of names he called out.
man... uf, am now thinking of this eminem song, and...I am so old... frek
Btw, my parents were straight up Christians and at 10 & 3/4 yrs old I was listening to Two Live Crew's "As Nasty as they Wanna Be" album. My dad had me put on the CD and listened to "Me so Horny" with me and laughed his ass off. Later my mom stole it from me and threw it away MULTIPLE times, but I would ALWAYS get a new one (I would buy it, my friends would copy it for me and my dad even bought me a copy). Bro you should have just come over to my place. I got home from school just about 3 hrs before either parent got home from work (in which time I would watch MTv, play Nintendo, etc.).
Marshall Mathers is his raw self, sings about what he cares about, a lot about his daughter. Slim is the gangster crap, bigging himself up with mad bars and real craft, Eminem is is goofy comedic self. Really the man is all three, and he may not even realise he’s doing it, but he leans into different sides of myself in different performances. The fun thing about him is you don’t know which persona is it gonna come to the forefront.
Rappers Delight was the first rap I heard , but I'm 55yo. I've seen rap evolving the whole time. Rock and Rap are my genres. Keep reacting and keep it 💯
everything eminem did was aired on mtv. He's an amazing artist; don't get me wrong. And lots of people spoke out against him... But he was the most marketed hip hop artist of all time by a LONG shot. He had more industry help than anyone before or after him. You couldn't turn on MTV or VH1 and not hear about or see eminem. Sometimes they acted like it was because of controversy but it was always selling him either way.
Yeah, I can agree, when I was a kid, the only rap I could understand or get was Eminem. His style was fun, so maybe he appealed to me. But now, I must agree he was pushed
i think this was on MTV.. in every country
lol yeah, it was on MTV. It was hilarious back then too, because he caused so much outrage, and this was basically a 'fuck you' to parents refusing to parent when he did his due diligence as an artist to warn his content wasn't for kids.
Saw him live 2003
It played on MTV
Yeah The Eminem show was a classic any had the anger management or at the same time that after Eminem show he did 8 Mile he was still on the anger management tour he perform lose yourself for the first time
This just in: Aliens have landed on the whitehouse lawn. And these 2 listened to this track for the first time..
eminem had two side back then the joking side, and then the lyrical side where he would diss the hell out of you.
6th grade..... The local music channel in Africa had a marathon of playing Eminem and Pink songs under the promotion of the king of rap and the queen of pop or some shit and that was my first intro to Eminem.
I was hooked. I was different, and on top of that I was living in a forei country. Eminem made it ok for it to be that way, his music in my opinion was very relatable to outsiders and the downtrodden of regular society.
Damn they yell!
No not blade Dr Dre was portraying Batman and Eminem played the boy wonder Robin in the bat mobile! The bearded man in the cave he was portraying osama bin laden hiding!
do more d12 reactions like purple pills or fight music, just make sure its uncensored
This was on MTV I'm 57, I remember it!!
yesss this was on MTV, I grew up to this shiiiet, how young are you guys?? :'D Im -94
2024...slim is back 😂🎉❤best rapper on the Planet....
It was played on MTV
Eminem stands out becuase he has choruses. Simple
early 2000's or thereabout when this came out if was definately shown here on in finland on tv and music chart shows and this is how i remember and think about eminem
3:57 » I always laugh at Eminem screaming "B!TCH" on Dre's ears cuz it's possible to see him trying to hold the laugh after that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This shit used to play on the school bus
MTV only played this video after 10pm
Eminem got awards for this song funny enough.
His all videos are dope
I watched this exact video on MTV in South Africa, I was 11
My neck,my back...so funny
There is no way this is your first time hearing this song in 20+ years of life in the US !! Be for real !!
Hey Chod and Dee! Love your shenanigans 🤪, next check out the video for The Real Slim Shady(dirty version) and Just Lose It ✌️ ☮️ ❤️
Gotta check out Ems new song Houdini
The video was on MTV
Sweet!!
You guys blew right passed the most talented part, right before you started talking about Elvis. Lol. Fix the antenna, tune it in, up under your skin lines....!? GENIUS!!! 🔥
0:58 » their lil' arguing 😅😅😅
If this was on MTV today it would be censored. Meanwhile, this is the censored version 😂
Marshall Mathers = MM hence the name Eminem
Yes this was on MTV
This video was 100% on MTV. Watched it on tv a lot when i was a teen. No cencoring, not in the states tho. Probably be blurred/beebed to shit in the states.
Yo if quote unquote "things are so de-sensitized nowadays" it would DEFINITELY BE aired today.
The definition of de-sensitizing LITERALLY means that it does NOT bother you in ANY way shape or form and there by would be MORE likely to be aired.
What you meant to say was that [things are so ultra-sensitive in today's society that there would be no way it would be allowed on the air-waves or on television] instead.
Masterpiece
lol mine was kid rock’s cocky album I remember I was never aloud to listen to until I swiped it from my step uncle’s car lol
You a fan this song is over 20yrs old
Eminem must have said "Dre. You're the Batman to my Robin." at some point.
...One serious, one goofy.
The song I heard the first time that was dirty when I was lil. Was "Prince x The Revolution - Darling Nikki (QH) (Dirty." OMG!!!
I think it was .first C.D. i ever remember the age warning in stores.
VOIDRAKER SAY'S YES....:-)
He was fighting against censorship !
It was the first music video from Eminem
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Flashback big time brings me back.totally remember this video and song I can't believe how much of it I still remember.
I cannot believe this is the 1st time youve been born before 1990...and listening to the best rapper of all time ...
Don’t forget B-Rabbit he took down Papa Doc
Yall gotta do marshall mathers and real slim shady by Eminem
Love it! You guys have to react to more Eminem!
How has no one seen it so funny this album is the best one first 3 would say are the best one's
First naughty song? Lmao. That would be Chuck Berry, My Ding-a-ling, I was 10 or 11 and thought it was so naughty! But hilarious.
Gotta check out Eminems Fall or the Ringer.
They have already did the Ringer
King marshall shady👍👍👍
Slim Shady is like an alter ego. At this time Federal law makers were trying to restrict youth from buying rap music with explicit content and Eminem was a targeted artist. He makes reference to this in his lyrics “they tried to shut me down on MTV… but it feels so empty without me”.
First "naughty" song for me was Sir Mix a Lot... I Like Big Butts
I think we’re alone now-Tiffany
❤ from india
Yes this is on Mtv.
man i miss the old mtv when it was all about music videos em was wild back than
