LEICESTER CITY FC CAME BACK FROM 2-0 DOWN TO WIN A DIFFICULT MATCH AGAINST LEATHERHEAD FC 2-3.LEATHERHEAD FC WERE DRAWN AT HOME BUT SWITHED THE TIE TO LEICESTER CITY'S GROUND, FILBERT ST. LEATHERHEAD FC WAS FOUNDED IN 1907 QND HAVE THE NICKNAME OF THE TANNERS. LEICESTER CITY FC WAS FORMED IN 1884 AND HAVE NEVER WON THE FA CUP LOSING IN FOUR FINALS.

I was at this match with my bro. 15 and 16 years old respectively , our whole lives ahead of us. Things were simpler back then. The streets were safe and you could leave your doors open. The only spoken rule for kids back then was _"Make sure your home before night time..."_ ... The world is a much Darker, Far more menacing place now.

I was there.. Best game i have ever been too. Chris "Budgie" Kelly was a magical player ably supported by wonderful teamates who gave their all. Tanners very unlucky to lose. .Only fitnessof Leicestrr s profesional team saw them thru to next round. Uf Leathethead had won they would hsve plsyed Arsenal away in nxt round

Yes.
Yes, most amateur sides would hire a pro team stadium if needed but this switch financially was good. A packed Filbert Street means they got all the gate money. In the Football League you split the gate money for league games but FAC the home side kept the gate money. Yes it's at Filbert Street but Letherhead are still the Home side. Good decision.
Leatherhead ground could only hold 3500 so obvious switch
