Glad you enjoyed it! Really had a lot of fun with it, makes you realize just how short the original Metroid is when you aren't getting creamed by the game struggling to exist. Btw the meta for farming health in Metroid is killing the flies that spawn out of the pipes
It might be a little long for this marathon, but do you think you could review SM64: Beyond the Cursed Mirror? It's a crazy new hack that's on par with Kaze's levels of crazy shit you don't expect from mario 64.
Oh nice I got this on web browser version and I didn't know this game had make new levels but too much work and one thing I like it got online multiplayer
This looks good. I love the original Metroid, but it has so many little irritations. I've been wanting to a good hack that fixed most of those while not butchering the original game, and this looks like it. Metroid mOther was a good attempt at this, but I thought it was kind of hideous.
Its good that you like the remakes, but chill with the shit talking on the original. I dont care how limited it is. If there was one last game i was aloud to play before I die. It would be Metroid NES original.
@@HeroC14 Honestly, Metroid 2 (GB original) seems to me to be a more suitable game to getting started in the series than NEStroid, that even taking into account that Metroid 2 suffers from the limitations of the GB, which in several cases were much more severe than those of the NES, such as the lower display resolution and fewer audio channels. Despite its limitations, Metroid 2 improved a lot compared to its predecessor, adding save points, power ups that many of them would become recurring in the next installments, and although the bosses are still crude, they improved slightly compared to NEStroid,
That sprite work is amazing, I love samus's walk cycle!
Its so weird yet awesome to see the 8 bit NES style so smooth and clean!
Now it sounds just like a gameboy game but stilk sounds much better
This looks a lot like it's slightly based on the beta for Metroid Zero Mission.

Is there a way to revert the music back to the original?
7:06 There are games where I feel the same, but Metroid isn't one of them. This remake looks good, though.
I hear Metroid is good
Do you use an ai voice?
Okay, I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like the voice was off.

Allowed* but otherwise you are correct. All these CZcamsrs always shit on the original like the terrible zoomers they are.
