Normalerweise boykottiere ich diese "Monkey XY"-Kanäle strikt, aber ich habe das in der Vorschau gesehen und konnte das als altgediente Kinderkrankenschwester einfach nicht mitansehen. Ich weiß nicht, woher dieses Baby stammt. Fairerweise muss man sehen, dass dies ein "stinknormales" Longtail-Baby ist und kein vom Aussterben bedrohtes Pigtail-Baby, die in Südostasien gewildert werden und als Lifestyle-Objekte auf dem Schwarzmarkt angeboten werden. Auf normalen Tiermärkten sind die Pigtails verboten, aber die Longtail-Babies gibt's dort - zumindest in Indonesien. Woher diese Affen stammen - keine Ahnung. Die Affen sind da, auch das muss man fairerweise sagen, teilweise eine Plage für die Bauern bis rein in die Städte, vielleicht gibt es da tatsächlich genug verlassene Affenbabies. Leider muss man davon ausgehen, dass die meisten aber auch hier ihren Müttern einfach geklaut wurden. Jemand hier meinte, vielleicht käme es von einem Züchter, aber auch das heißt ja, dass es im Alter von höchstens drei Tagen der Mutter weggenommen wurde. Alles schlimm genug - das können wir von hier aus für dieses konkrete Baby nicht mehr ändern, aber vielleicht der Halterin erklären, wie sie das Baby nicht gleich beim ersten Füttern umbringt. (Da es weitere Videos von diesem Äffchen gibt, scheint es ja zumindest das überlebt zu haben.) Das Schlimme ist, dass es in Südostasien, vor allem Vietnam, aktuell einfach ein angesagtes Lifestyle-Projekt ist, einen Babyaffen zu haben und mit ihm auf Social Media Geld zu machen. Just so you know when the milk comes out the babies nose it also means it’s going into its lungs which means you’re going to give it pneumonia. So go back to feeding it with a very small syringe until you can find a very small bottle nipple.

While you are at keeping a baby monkey as pet, what I am a strict adversary of, then at least please, please, please give the baby a smaller nipple!!! Pet monkey babies so often get pneumonia and die of it because they are aspirating milk because of being fed with far too big nipples!!! The baby is getting a real lockjaw with this nipple and can't swallow! And beyond, the lying position is dangerous. Monkey babies naturally nurse in a sitting/upright position. And this newborn urgently needs to cling! That is a reflex absolutely necessary for their healthy development. Put an old T-Shirt on and let it cling while you are doing other work. So do the monkey moms in free nature, and once it will thank you that. I am not at all wicked, but as a pediatric nurse for decades, I can hardly bear to see how you are treating this poor creature - as I hope not because of viciousness on your side but because of a lack of experience with animals and babies at all. So ask and let help you by experienced persons.

In one of the following videos of this baby I only looked in for a few seconds in order not to make earn money this awful woman the baby lay on the ground while a much bigger pigtail - a toddler, no baby - jumped on it. I admit this also to happen in free nature, but a baby only a few days old would be in mother's arms most of the day and being widely protected of too hard attacks. But I admit once more, they are more strong and robust as they seem; they wouldn't survive in free nature elsewise. The difference is: Longtails are at the lower end of hierarchy and in channels like this the pigtail monkeys (two if I saw correctly) are provided with a little longtail as an object for torturing. Maybe because you lack the proper equipment to feed it. Try a smaller nursing bottle meant for animals not a human baby bottle. It also helps stimulate them to feed if you hold it up the right way. Or you could take it back to its mother if you know where she is.

This is hard to watch. The poor baby is struggling. You need to hold it upright and use a smaller nipple and give it something to cling on, like a pillow or a teddy bear.
You ALMOST had it right.... yes it needs to be upright, and have a stuffy to cling to.... but the nipple size is proper for a macaque baby. Even her size. Momma macaques have nipples 3 inches long ON AVG. some bigger. And they're the thickness of the circumference of a quarter. Which is bigger than what she's actually using in this video

Ja, echt!!! Ich hab' ja schon auf englisch kommentiert, aber es ist so schön, sich mal in seiner Muttersprache Luft machen zu können! Normalerweise boykottiere ich diese "Monkey XY"-Kanäle strikt, aber ich habe das in der Vorschau gesehen und konnte das als altgediente Kinderkrankenschwester einfach nicht mitansehen. Ich weiß nicht, woher dieses Baby stammt. Fairerweise muss man sehen, dass dies ein "stinknormales" Longtail-Baby ist und kein vom Aussterben bedrohtes Pigtail-Baby, die in Südostasien gewildert werden und als Lifestyle-Objekte auf dem Schwarzmarkt angeboten werden. Auf normalen Tiermärkten sind die Pigtails verboten, aber die Longtail-Babies gibt's dort - zumindest in Indonesien. Woher diese Affen stammen - keine Ahnung. Die Affen sind da, auch das muss man fairerweise sagen, teilweise eine Plage für die Bauern bis rein in die Städte, vielleicht gibt es da tatsächlich genug verlassene Affenbabies. Leider muss man davon ausgehen, dass die meisten aber auch hier ihren Müttern einfach geklaut wurden. Jemand hier meinte, vielleicht käme es von einem Züchter, aber auch das heißt ja, dass es im Alter von höchstens drei Tagen der Mutter weggenommen wurde. Alles schlimm genug - das können wir von hier aus für dieses konkrete Baby nicht mehr ändern, aber vielleicht der Halterin erklären, wie sie das Baby nicht gleich beim ersten Füttern umbringt. (Da es weitere Videos von diesem Äffchen gibt, scheint es ja zumindest das überlebt zu haben.) Das Schlimme ist, dass es in Südostasien, vor allem Vietnam, aktuell einfach ein angesagtes Lifestyle-Projekt ist, einen Babyaffen zu haben und mit ihm auf Social Media Geld zu machen. Vor allem junge Mädels ohne Erfahrung in Tier- oder Kinderpflege finden das buchstäblich affengeil. While you are at keeping a baby monkey as pet, what I am a strict adversary of, then at least please, please, please give the baby a smaller nipple!!! Pet monkey babies so often get pneumonia and die of it because they are aspirating milk because of being fed with far too big nipples!!! The baby is getting a real lockjaw with this nipple and can't swallow! And beyond, the lying position is dangerous. Monkey babies naturally nurse in a sitting/upright position. And this newborn urgently needs to cling! That is a reflex absolutely necessary for their healthy development. Put an old T-Shirt on and let it cling while you are doing other work. So do the monkey moms in free nature, and once it will thank you that. I am not at all wicked, but as a pediatric nurse for decades, I can hardly bear to see how you are treating this poor creature - as I hope not because of viciousness on your side but because of a lack of experience with animals and babies at all. So ask and let help you by experienced persons.

In one of the following videos of this baby I only looked in for a few seconds in order not to make earn money this awful woman the baby lay on the ground while a much bigger pigtail - a toddler, no baby - jumped on it. I admit this also to happen in free nature, but a baby only a few days old would be in mother's arms most of the day and being widely protected of too hard attacks. But I admit once more, they are more strong and robust as they seem; they wouldn't survive in free nature elsewise. The difference is: Longtails are at the lower end of hierarchy and in channels like this the pigtail monkeys (two if I saw correctly) are provided with a little longtail as an object for torturing. Laying on their backs exposing their soft belly makes it hard for them to run away and their belly organs are easily pulled out by predators. Laying on his back while feeding is not a natural position for them. THIS IS NOT A HUMAN BABY!!! Trying to force this poor animal to be human creates unnecessary anxiety. Either learn about the animals you have as pets or get arrested for animal abuse.

Maybe because you lack the proper equipment to feed it. Try a smaller nursing bottle meant for animals not a human baby bottle. It also helps stimulate them to feed if you hold it up the right way. Or you could take it back to its mother if you know where she is.
