I just got one of these beauties and the only plant matter he eats I'd dead leaves so I'm leaveing them in there for him. If my apistos spawn will the try and get at the eggs? Or my Rams?
I have both rabbit snail and black devil spike snail I only ever see them eating dead leaves never live plants I leave a dead leaf or two simple for food for the black devil snail who is called Zoro my rabbit is called Cookie after a bunny I had . How do you get then too come out for the romaine lettuce and what do you do to blanched it ?

You need a filter, a tank heater, gravel, live plants, and hides :)
