OMG I love this song and performance so much. Maureen McGovern has one of the most incredible ranges of any vocalist out there. I have seen her several times in concert and she is such a professional. I have loved her voice since I was a young boy when she sang "Morning After" and have loved her ever since. She can hit the high notes like no one can and she's so comfortable way up there. She is truly a GEM to all of us who love her incredible voice. She has absolutely made our world a better place with her amazing talent. She does so many good things for people and when she sings she just makes me melt. She has one of the most beautiful voices on the planet. God bless you, Maureen! And thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us all.

Brings back great childhood memories from the era (late 70s/early 80s) Loved the TV show. One of my favorite vocalists. Watched this live performance for first time tonight. Sends chills and tears when the crowd applauded. Truly incredible.
This song takes me back when I was a kid 5 years old. it's such a beautiful song. it was a different era. that high pitch takes me out of my recent depression. it made me happy then and makes me happy now at 43. this song was too good for the show Angie. even though the show Angie was a good show. the song stands on its own. and what better to sing it but her. it's all about that generation. it's very clear simple, natural, and beautiful! extremely uplifting and wonderful touches the spirit and heels it.
My only regret with this song is that it wasn't longer. I wish they'd loop it for another minute or two like some other songs did that were TV theme songs. One of my all-time favorite songs in my 500+ CD collection. Too many good memories from watching Angie back in the day. Loved the show, the characters and the song. Too bad the series didn't last. Much better than any junk on TV today.

I've always loved this song. I've rarely seen a live version. I love the little embellishments she does compared to the recorded version...longer notes held and small spoken words...and no annoying backup singers like in the recording :)
