Thanks for the video, very helpful.
I have a similar problem with the down trim is working occasionally but the difference is that the trim always work both up and down when i use the tilt controls mounted on the engine. Which make me think it's not the solenoid/relay but a damaged wire from the throttle trim control. Was it the same for you?

My problem was very intermittent. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t. I never had a problem with the motor buttons, but it was always hit or miss with the throttle control.
If yours ALWAYS works with the motor, and NEVER works with the throttle, that sounds like a throttle switch problem to me.
