For me the wolf armor doesn't look that bad.. But it's definetly not bad overall as your dog will not take any damage until the armor breaks (there are a few exceptions for some types of damage). Armor absorbs all the damage instead and loses durability this way until it breaks. Therefore your dogs are kind of tanks right now. Oh and you can also repair the armor (kinda "heal" your dog but truthfully heal the armor, cause dogs health is full) by right clicking your dog with a scute.

Pillagers continually spawn in a 72×54×72 block volume centered on the top floor. They may spawn on any valid opaque block as long as the sky light level is 11 or lower, and the block light level is 8 or lower, but can also spawn on grass blocks or sand regardless of sky light level

You can dye the wolf armor. It helps make it not so gross looking 😂🎉❤
For enchanting: when you get to the level 30 enchant, there is diminishing returns. I typically do protection IV on two pieces and fire IV and blast IV on two others. At that level, ghast and blaze fireballs do virtually no damage, and fire will only tick one or twice before going out.

You don't necessarily need a mule as you can put a chest on the donkey - they aren't very quick however neither is your horse 🤣

The piercing enchantment you got in ep 1 or 2, is used on your crossbow to make it much stronger.
I think an open air minecart track will be more interesting to ride and will save a heap of tunnelling.
Seeing that your orange cat is named Pluto, maybe name your white cat Europa.

To breed the horse use golden carrots or apples. Cats that sleep with you bring gifts most nights. They sleep with you only if they aren't sitting. You can jump down into big caves if there is water at the bottom. You won't take damage. Lastly if you bring the armadillo back to your base and put him above a hopper attached to a chest. You will get the armadillo chute automatically. .

Carrots and gold make the best food in Minecraft. Make sure you have a carrot farm when you start farms. Also you can feed your horseys with them :)

So that "it" thing is the strongest mob in the game and you need to be extremely careful due to it's insane speed and damage, it can't see, but it has excellent hearing, I recommend using snowballs to lure it away from you
If ever you are stuck in an open area with an enderman, place a bucket of water under you, much quicker way to escape them then building a dirt tower. After that just try to nudge you way to the center as the water will push you, so try to get hits on the enderman and it will die after a couple hits. So, no mattet where u travel, other then the nether, keep water with you, pretty useful. Also, hoes break hay bales faster.
Pillagers will continue to spawn around the tower, even if you remove the structure. In the new update killing the captain, the one carrying the banner will drop an ominous potions, lvl ranges from 1-5, bascially easy raid to hard. Collect some and you can trigger raids by drinking them while in a village. Complete raids for lower trade prices, gifts from villagers and even good loot from the raids. Be warned though, raids can get tough, so try lvl 1 first and set up defences to farm emeralds, etc if you want to.
Make a basic sugarcane farm to trade, or use fletchers, the ones with bow and arrow workstation to trade sticks for easy emeralds. Famrers buy wheat too, so might want to check around the village for some. Or even make a fletcher by breaking a workstation, like the leatherworker and reassign their job status. Just remember not to trade first as it locks their trades forever.

for the trial dungeons, another way to find them is to go to ~y=-10 and look for large "boxes" of terrain with flat walls and rounded corners and dig into them, I find that method easier than grinding for a map

The thing that lives in the dark? Nope, not worth the effort, only drop one sculk sensor, its not meant to be fought, just to quietly loot and maybe farm some xp and dip the area.
You cant shoot endermen with any projectiles they will just teleport away
You can breed them by feeding them golden apple/carrot
When I name animals I take an obvious name and then riff on that. For example you could name your cat Snowflake and then riff on it like Flake or Flakers.

Villagers don't care if you loot their chests. Piglins do though!

You can't hit endermen with missiles. Name tags can be fished out of any body of water. You a fletching table and a villager to use it and you get a lot emeralds that way.

lol I don't think Ralph is a stupid name! Aston Martin is more suitable to a fast horse I think... something you can actually ride
