The rule is that we have to fight him about 3 or 4 times no matter how random or stupid the encounters are, That's just how it works, you don't question the status quo.
the simple way of dealing with the museum glitch is to wait till they're all available and then do them in reverse order it wont glitch if you do that.
Like, ideally the emergency bed would have some kind of gimbling so it's always relatively stable. Also, it does have bars on the side of the bed so less chance to fall out then you might think.
The spiker honestly looks a bit like egg genesis from sonic 06, has an almost similar weakpoint except the weakpoint on egg genesis was both under and on top of it and egg genesis didn't have legs. Also the game the spiker is in isn't a disaster like 06
