Thanks for the flip through! Some of the artwork in these cards definitely align with the artists wife , Lindsay Mack’s card interpretations. She has a really interesting take on the meanings, and they’re very different at times from what they’re traditionally recognized as. It would be worth looking into her work! I've listened to her podcast a few times and I like her takes. I sort of wish she had written a guidebook to go along with his deck...maybe someday. I haven't heard her views in Chariot, yet! 💜
Mixtress Rae I just got done taking her 8 week tarot course! But yes she’s big on working with your own knowing but it would be a welcome addition to the deck nonetheless

Mixtress Rae it was pretty amazing and the amount of content she gives you is just...massive! So even though it’s over I’m still working my way through the bonus content! It definitely is pricey. I ended up doing the payment plan. I think it’s been well worth the time and money. I would recommend to take one of her smaller online courses to see if you like her teaching style before committing to the wild soul course. But she really leaves no stone unturned. And every year she does the course she changes something, or adds something new based on what she feels is aligned etc. I really loved it

I just got the Superlunaris Tarot and the Tarot of the Holy Spectrum is on the way so I was excited to see this comparison. I never was drawn to the Modern Witch for some reason. I really enjoy you takes on both of these decks! Love and light to you.
The king of cups feels to me like he’s so comfortable sharing/serving, like it’s so within his nature, that he does it unknowingly. People know that even if he’s preoccupied that they can expect support from him

I use Modern Witch all the time, so I enjoy your comparisons. You bring up a few cards where you 'd rather see a different representation -- like the 6 of pentacles. As you say, there is almost always a power differential -- I like having that to push back against when I'm doing a reading. Also, I thought of something for the first time while watching --- what is the effect of seeing images of people of different colors (as in blue, red, etc.) vs. people of different ethnicities?
That is an intriguing question. It still feels to me a bit like erasure if all the facial characteristics are obviously of white people, even when they're blue. For example, Moon Power deck has all alien skin tones, but some of her figures have characteristics depicting POC. However, some of the figures in Holy Spectrum could be interpreted as being of Asian descent too. It's not an egregiously white deck, but I wouldn't say it's diverse either.

Wow! Just came across this series! Usually you’ll see comparisons between decks by the same creator/author or a very obvious common theme, but I love that these comparisons go beyond that.
Was waiting for the Holy Spectrum, but after watching this I know that need the Modern Witches in my collection.
Would love to see a comparison between the Wild Unknown Animal Spirits and The Animal Spirits Oracle by CBD, if you have them. I know the theme is the same, but I’d love to see how you pull apart their differences.
I don't have CBD animal deck, only Kim Krans version. That would be cool to see, however. Compare the animals in lots of different animal decks...hmm...
