  • Today I was able to go and view the two new Cruise Ships that had arrived quite recently here into Southampton Docks, a friend of mine was able to transport me between Hythe and Town Quay Southampton, the P&O Iona berthed in Ocean Terminal and the MSC Virtuosa berthed in the City Cruise Terminal plus a view of Cunard Queen Elizabeth berthed in the Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Terminal and the P&O Britannia berthed at the Mayflower Cruise Terminal.

    Hi Ship mate.
Really pleased to see you filming again. Some of us were getting a bit concerned that you'd gone a bit quiet.
As usual great footage. I fortunately yesterday had to pop down to Southampton on business but managed to spend an hour at Mayflower Park.
We look forward to sharing a great season with you and the excellent filming.
    Tony

Hi Henry V, Many thanks for your kind words however this video today was a rare moment for me as I am now looking after my wife full time with carers coming in every day to help as well. This is why I have not been able to film and post videos all this time, so it is a bit difficult to carry on much with my filming and posting videos and as I had carers today come and sit with my wife I was able to get out for a couple of hours and make this video with the help of a friend of mine who took me out in his car. Apart from all what is going on I am perfectly well thank you.

Hi Steve how are you. It's been a while since you've uploaded. Fantastic to have you back! It's great to see such a wide range of ships in today like P&O Cruises IONA which is an absolute beauty she's huge. Especially with her maximum tonnage of around 185,000 which makes her the 5th largest cruise ship in the world. It's also nice to see Britannia and MSCs brand new ship MSC Virtuosa and of course one of Cunards 3 queens the Queen Elizabeth. It's always lovely to see either of the three queens in Southampton, but it's lovely to see IONA moored along 46 after months of waiting! Fantastic vid Steve I wish you well sir. 👍🇬🇧
