    “Amanda, I know it’s the 90’s, but a cell phone at a funeral? Very tacky.”
    Sydney was right on that one. But that’s California for you.

    • @alexisdiva9
      @alexisdiva9 Před 3 lety +5

      Agree that Amanda shouldn't have taken that call during a funeral - but it sounded like it might have been imperative to take it in order to possibly save a client (esp. since in prior episodes there was dialogue about what Brooke supposedly should have done but didn't) and they were waiting on the priest to conduct the burial service; however, it really still should have went to voice mail.

    • @CharliePonyik
      @CharliePonyik Před 3 lety +6

      Yes, it could've waited. Amanda could've called back and explained that while Brooke was the one for the account, her funeral had just taken place that day and D&D was making new arrangements for the account.

    • @alexisdiva9
      @alexisdiva9 Před 2 lety +3

      Agree - or Amanda could call back to explain that Brooke had suffered some personal issues (which can't be disclosed due to HIPPA privacy laws) & experienced sudden death with the funeral having been that day and they will be in touch shortly to announce her successor.

    Sydney had a good point about the cell phone and she looked ADORABLE. Amanda's skirts barely covers her butt, cover up, girl, especially at work and a funeral.

    “ Oh. Just what I need. Styler points from Gidget!” 😂😂😂 I used to crack up over that! This is right around the time during the 1990s when the old-school 1960s look was back in and that’s exactly what Sydney was rocking during most of the season four.

    I’m surprised so many came to the funeral considering how bad Brooke treated people and that she didn’t have any close relation to most of the people here. Billy, Alison and Amanda should have been the only ones there.

    • @alexisdiva9
      @alexisdiva9 Před 3 lety +12

      Practically everyone came to the funeral to support Billy, not to do a life celebration of Brooke - you are correct that only Billy, Alison & Amanda should have attended.

    Did you all notice that Sydney and Jane didn't even speak to each other or sit by each other in this scene? 😂 Like a few others commented, I have no idea why Sydney was even in this scene. She had zero interactions with Brooke and she only had about a small handful of interactions with Alison and Billy over the whole series.

      If I had to eulogize her... Brooke Armstrong was deeply loved by her father, an ambitious woman who was driven to achieve her personal and professional goals, and an impactful member of the Melrose Place community. Her death has affected us all, and Melrose Place will not be the same with her having passed.

    • @alexisdiva9
      @alexisdiva9 Před 2 lety +3

      Here's mine: Brooke Armstrong was an only child dotingly raised by her widower father who evolved into an ambitious woman deeply driven and passionate about her goals which she aimed to fulfill no matter what. She also was an inquisitive and creative member of the D&D team. Her goals and actions to achieve them became a catalyst to business at D&D as well as the goings on at the Melrose Place community. Her death left a large hole in the D&D team as well as the Melrose Place community where she will be missed.
