- Tried a kambo ceremony while in The Sacred Valley in Peru (town of Pisac).
Kambo is traditionally used for various purposes within indigenous Amazonian cultures for its potential healing, cleansing, and spiritual properties. Here are some common uses of kambo:
Detoxification and Physical Healing: Kambo is believed to have detoxifying properties, and it is used to cleanse the body of toxins. It is thought to stimulate the lymphatic system, boost the immune system, and support overall physical well-being. Some people use kambo to address specific health conditions, such as infections, inflammation, and chronic pain.
Purification and Energetic Clearing: Kambo is often employed for energetic and spiritual purification. It is believed to clear energetic blockages and negative influences, promoting a sense of balance and harmony within the body and spirit. It is considered a purgative medicine, facilitating the release of physical and emotional stagnation.
Spiritual and Shamanic Practices: Kambo has a strong spiritual significance in indigenous traditions. It is used in ceremonies as a tool for spiritual exploration, personal growth, and connecting with higher states of consciousness. It is believed to enhance intuition, clarity, and emotional resilience.
Traditional Medicine: In addition to its ceremonial and spiritual use, kambo is also used as a traditional medicinal remedy by indigenous communities. It is employed for various purposes, including treating infections, snakebites, fever, and fertility issues. However, it's important to note that the traditional uses of kambo have not been extensively studied or validated by scientific research.
Most underrated creator!!
That’s a great complement. Thank you! Have you been out to Peru as well?
For what you do you should have a lot more views… very brave and interesting!
Thank you! I’ll keep trying new things and creating. Have you been here in Peru as well?
@@mindful_wander Sadly no. I intend on participating in similar ceremonies as i age however I’m content with my mindset after trying shrooms. Very eye opening!
Woww i am extremely interested in these things. Your story is fascinating! Please do more
Thanks! I’ll be doing more soon. Anything in particular you’d like to see/hear?
@BrandonRKH can't think of anything at the moment but I'll lyk if I do. Actually doing a kambo ceremony tomorrow!
@BrandonRKH you do amazing work!
interesting !
Glad you think so! Thank you 🙂
Dónde hiciste la ceremonia de Kambo? Podrías compartir la info por favor?
Hice la ceremonia en pisac en peru. Un amigo me dio el numero de alguien que lo hace en esa zona pero hay mucha gente que puedes encontrar allí
Brave!
Thanks. It definitely had me feeling anxious beforehand. Glad there was at least a little joy at the end of it 😅
I just took some hapé and purged several times. Im here searching for the reason why. I still feel sick
Hapé can definitely make you feel sick. In some ceremonies, it’s actually used to induce purging. The first couple times I tried it, I was fine. Maybe just felt a bit strange. The third time I felt sick.
Where did you sign up for this retreat?
I was referred to this person that administered Kambo by one of the facilitators at the Ayahuasca retreat I went to. A lot of things in The Sacred Valley are through word-of-mouth, which is good because you need to be able to trust the people that are conducting these ceremonies. Are you planning to go to Peru?
@@mindful_wander Yes, I am. I wasn’t sure to go figure it out on my own or sign up for a retreat before I go.
@@mindful_wander thank you for sharing this. I'm doing some research now about to start my journey. Which Aya retreat did you attend? Did you do a video on it?
