Since Franklin Richards was retconned to be a non-mutant, l would deffinitely say that Legion is the most powerful mutant ever. It was always between Franklin and Legion for me, but Franklin isn't mutant anymore, so it's deffinitely Legion.

Inspired by the true story of Billy Milligan Legion character is the most fascinating of the whole X-men saga of that decade.

Was worried for a minute they were going to leave out the epic psychic battle with the shadow king, can't have been easy on a tv budget to come up with visuals for two omega level reality warpers going toe-to-toe, and they absolutely smashed it.

I felt that this was one of the most beautiful shows created. There has rarely been a show that showcased powers like this from someone who was diagnosed with a mental illness, even though he wasn't technically ill
The problem with Legion is that he was both the most powerful mutant and mentally ill. When he found out he had powers he thought it was the powers that made him like that, then he thought it was Farouk. The truth is that's just who he is. Season 3 leans heavy into that. He creates his own delusions["I'm a good person, I deserve love"], he's a narcissist["I am God"], and he lacks remorse[He murders everyone without a second thought and treats Switch as nothing more than a tool]. This is him without Farouk and with knowledge of his powers.

When I was a child, I called his power Absolute Manifest, the ability to warp reality to his will. Absolutely. The telepathy, telekinesis, etc. were all just secondary manifestations.

Many of the powers listed were redundant. In that they were basically sub powers of telekinesis and telepathy.

all unique abilities: teleportation, matter manipulation, aura generation, warp/erase reality and time travel.. all other abilities were a derivative of telekinesis and telepathy.
Omega level mutant with dissociative identity disorder. Can basically manipulate reality and time on a cosmic scale, literally thousands of personalities all with Omega level abilities all fighting to be dominent , unimaginable internal conflict.
I love this character , not sure if it was the fascination of how broken his mind was, or the boundries of his true potential if he ever gained full control..Maybe both😁

He went from iconically pulling a Neo (stopping machine gun bullets in mid-air) to pulling an Agent Smith (sending multiple clones of himself to attack one person simultaneously)

Some of these powers are covered by a single one.for instance levitation, flight, disintegration and Force field are covered by Telekinesis.

Idk that much of the character, but this actor is actually making me liking his powers and looks fun. Like his reality warping, he even dances while doing it like a game or joke.
Dude is so op hell he can’t even die, he’ll just comeback as long as he has another personality. He eventually (in the comics) gets a watch where he can punch in a # that stimulates his brain to get whatever power he needs. So a cool character.
And then he gives up that watch because he wants to learn to control it himself, at will. Idk if he ever succeeded though.

Shadow King is not a Mutant. He is an Entity immortal.
As originally introduced, Farouk was a human mutant from Egypt who used his vast telepathic abilities for evil, taking the alias Shadow King. Later writers established Farouk as only the modern incarnation of an ancient evil entity that has been around since the dawn of humanity, who became one with Farouk when he grew older.
That explains his inhumanly long life. 🤔

He has control over all of reality in every potential universe, if you control reality, not just control but dominate, you are virtually indestructible

That's not even a toe to toe. Wanda can still be hurt, Legion can't. Or, even have Wanda's own powers, plus his other thousands. Heck, he can just time travel and eliminate Wanda before she has powers. Or change the laws of magic to fit his own.

Legion was the best X-men related thing Fox has put out to date. I’d even say it was better than all the Marvel Netflix shows and Agents of Shield. It came, was great for two seasons and left with no ragrets.
I wish this same creative team did a show about Mr Sinister. It would be amazing.
I liked The Gifted too even if Legion did have higher highs.
@@FutureDeep I know a lot of people LOVED the Gifted. I thought it was off in much the same way the X-men movies were off. Then I realized Singer was involved and it made sense.
Singer was also involved in the first Season of this.

The main problem is that Sydney tried to kill him a day ago, because SHE THOUGHT he was the culprit of the end of the world AND NO ONE WANTS TO TALK ABOUT IT.
And also, in some unknown way, the team began to work together with the shadow king. LIKE IT'S NORMAL.
The team got influenced by Shadow King and believed that Legion is more dangerous than Farouk so thats why

And before you comic encyclopedias at me, this is more just for fun. Is this a look into the taxing strain on the mind of a person with too much power? Or is this a person who's personal turmoil makes that power go out of control?

Well, from what I’ve gathered his original power was to get whatever power he imagines. So it’s really down to your question. Did his psychosis gave him the powers? Or did the powers got him psychosis? Which came first, the egg or the chicken?
As far as I can tell from reading about him, that’s the whole crux of his mutant ability. His powers _are_ bound to the personalities he manifests, with his mind manifesting _more_ personalities with additional powers as he needs them. Naturally, some personalities get more usage because their powers are that versatile. At the end of the day, _he_ controls the personalities and their powers, but they are constantly fighting to break away and be their own entity.
So to me it honestly sounds like his core ability- reality and time manipulation/control -is just too powerful for his mind to handle. In response, it resorts to psychosis as a tool for managing the ability in “bite-sized” chunks: thus, his personalities being tied to specific powers. In essence: Legion appears to be an exploration of humans and their natural limitations. And I, for one, appreciate the balls of the writers to even attempt such a character with this much self-awareness and honesty.
