Love how Mitch singing through a tipsy laugh in fake paper snow is better than the average person singing at their very best. 💯 x 💯 x 💯
That might be true of their purposefully terrible tipsy singing, too. 😂
Mitch's "Do you wanna build a snowman?" makes me want to cry when the original never did. They are all so good at letting the emotion of the song they're singing come through even while singing perfectly. That's one of the signs of a great singer.
Mitch has beautiful enunciation/pronunciation. One of the reasons I love him.

Scott came up with the idea of layering "Lost on you" by lp over part of the Inception soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. Mario Jose was a tour assistant for the PTX "On my way Home" tour. In the BTS video, Scott is nearly doing the splits to be in the video frame with Mario... yet he still managed to make us feel the emotions of "Lost on You". Masterpiece.
The Frozen Medley (especially the bloopers) are what happens when three life-long friends...and proud "choir nerds"...get together in a recording studio for a night of fun and, yes, HEAVY alcohol consumption (they have all admitted that they were rather toasted by the end of the night). Apparently, the take that begins this video was the only one they managed to get through without breaking down completely. All of the bloopers were from later on...and after MUCH more drinking!!
Mitch could definitely be a star on Broadway! (Oh, and apparently they were a little tipsie when they made this) 😂

I love Mario so much!!! this one with him and Scott is one of my fav things they've done together, it's so intense and they're both just SO good.
Mario opened the Concert when I saw PTX! You must do Rise, by Super Fruit. It is about the Orlando Nightclub shooting. I was in South Africa when this happened, I was very upset. It was featured prominently on the News.
There was absolutely not a DROP of alcohol involved in this video (I am sure there was several!)...ALso Mario and Scott are awesome together!
When you were asking about how Mitch is able to be so clear with his diction and why you can’t do it... i think it might be your accent. Many people drop their accents when they sing. Thought mitch’s diction is out of this world... cause he’s clearly an alien.

Add “What did Scott do?” to your merch is needed 🤣 Lost on You is one of my favourites, such a masterpiece with putting LP & Time together. Love Scott’s emotion while he sings in this and Mario has a great voice too.
Even with the addition (allegedly ;) )of alcohol, Mitch never missed one word..his diction is absolutely perfect....even when he almost lost it with the 'frozen fractals' he immediately got back into serious mode.... the 'who can sing the worst' part at the end made my throat hurt but it was hilarious never the less. Cheers QoFy... was waiting for you to do both of these...Mario has an awesome voice...we love him I think you reacted already to the collab PTX did with Jason Derulo... at some of the live concerts, Mario took Jason's part on that track... until the very high notes ...then it was over to Kevin !!!
I couldn't agree with you more re Mitch's diction. I first noticed how strong it is in Amazing Grace. Listen to his lead in that song and notice how carefully he says "endure" and other words as well. Love this tongue-in-cheek medley that still manages to feature great singing.
Yes not sure if you’re familiar with the reactor/ voice coach Tara Simon but she pointed out his pronunciation/diction in Sound of Silence too. His part in that song doesn’t get that much credit because his seems to be the most understated part of the 4 singers but he’s so technical that he stands out for that. He’s my favorite singer of the group for many reasons.

Simple fun, silliness and, in their case, amazing talent display. You can tell they live and breathe music. So talented. 🤗
I thought no one but Mitch could be the jelly to Scott's peanut butter until...Mario! They have a beautiful harmony when singing together. Han's glorious soundtrack underneath Mario's smokey goodness and that gravel Scott was laying down just catapulted this one over the top!
Mario is a perfect example of how attractiveness if judged before talent in music. I would listen to him all damn day long!!!

Scott went to the movies and was like hold up.... those 2 songs have similar chord progressions. He is a musician. He's not a POS tik toker. He actually knows what he's talking about.
Sadly just last year Mitch said in a live stream being on Broadway would be too scary for him but I know he would kill it.

His diction is so clear because he was a theater kid emphasis diction in the theater is very important .
I just noticed that Scott and Mario have very similar hand motions with their singing, ha ha. I know singing often makes people use their hands to mirror the emotions, but it's uncanny how similar they are.

When Pentaholics say something is GOOD, it is! The harmony reminds me of Superfruit, but Mitch's voice is more delicate than Mario's, and Scott can really let it rip with Mario. Mario was a manager on their road crew, but they realized he could SING, and they let him do the opening act for some of their early concerts. That's one thing I get from watching PTX & SF, you hear a lot of new songs and artists that you might not ever have heard about.

I would love to see Mitch do some Dimash, I realize different style, different training and different genre but it would be interesting.
I would love to see a comparison of Superfruit’s bad 4 us and an acoustic cover Mario Jose did with his friend Matt Bloyd. They’re both really good. If you do watch superfruit’s know they have 2 videos. Watch the one that’s them as real people and not the cartoon version.
