For the little spinner treble hooks, you should try the small pliers that have the angled head...like 45degrees or something....grabbing the little metal hook is easier with that than grabbing it with fingers...they usually have them in the fishing section of stores and brand does not make a big difference

I was told by an Ag Extension office that a lime application can take up to nine months to take full effect.

Correct... to get 4" down it can take a full year.

That’s why you can wait for a big sale. I got enough to treat a half acre for like $15.

How will you prevent the new clover area and the Bermuda by the dock area from mixing with each other?
Also, what area is the beach house in? (wondering how close it was to the storm)

Can you provided some more info on correcting that algae issue. I have that same issue in my zenith zoysia lawn where I see green algae sporadically throughout the surface of my soil here in Miami. Current ph 7.1

I bought the same tester a few months ago and found my soil to be around 5.5. I put lime down and plan to do another application soon. I tested our house water and it’s also acidic. Hard to keep the soil neutral when our water is acidic!

maybe you should use barbless hooks, would be easier to de-hook them if you cant find a stick.

What meter do you use for the PH reading. Taking soil samples and sending them off can get expensive

Basic lime is pretty much the same without a great amount of performance difference. It has been tested in the past.

What do you do if you have high ph. Got that tester and getting low 6 to 8. More 7.8 and 7.5 in my brown spot of my lawn.

I would mask up and aleays ensure you got goggles on when spreading that lime doc. It can be quite harmful otherwise.
