Gloves won't save you from a broken wrist.
Snowboarders have been known to use wrist protectors, but mainly so you break your arm and not your wrist, as wrists can be terrible to heal, and often will never be the same.
Had to chuckle when ya said we'll talk about wrists in a bit, lol mines still buggered from a crash a month ago
These kinds of videos just send chills down my spine and make me ride even more carefully. And that last guy đČ! I wish him to get well soon. I've had my share of broken bones in my life and I'm getting a bit older, so unless the adrenaline or peer pressure kicks in, I'm not risking a hospital visit. But of course then I don't look anywhere near as cool as some children in the video đ.
GMBNs' Fails Of The Month is the best thing since Crash N' Burn, a magazine from the late 80's and early 90's.
The rider at the end was doing real good until he crashed. Both wrists and a ankle....that would suck so bad.

.. aCk, the WRIST!!! I broke mine 2 years ago just before entering a roller rink, having just gotten upright and seeking something to hold onto. My old 80's skates needed a wee push ~ not the greased lightning I ended up in. I know that warped arm.

A question for you guys. Martin, you had a freak accident and broke your back and worse. I injured my back in 1982 while power lifting and was also a big MB guy always pushing it. I crushed a disc and 12 surgeries latter I live in constant pain, but still try to get out when I can. With this, do you think more young riders should wear back and chest protectors? I'm surprise at how many pros don't wear this protection.

I know an 8 year old who is an amazing rider he went to do a 3 foot drop and just didnât tlift the front at all and when he fell the back tire slammed against his helmet and he just gets right up

I filmed Gary's out the front door, he didn't get up to quickly and he lost a bit of skin and his helmet got busted up. But your commentery on Ra's reaction was spot on. He came over "eventually" to make sure Gary was alright. But Gary wasn't feeling good for a week or two.
