Thank you. Best video for spark replacement on Mercedes C Class. You even mentioned the longer wires, and where they suppose to go.
Dude, that's cool and you made it look easy.
Thanks I saved $1,200 by DIY. Thanks again.
Good job bro 👍👍👍! Very helpful.
Great video doing mine tomorrow😁
Mechanics wanted to tax me 700$ on labor crazy fr on all 12 spark plugs
Thank you.
Awesome thanks*
I have a 2005 C320, 3.2L, is this the same procedure?
Thanks for the video. Are the wires important to replace. I'm doing valve covers, sparkplugs, but have not considered the wires. Any suggestions anyone?
Hey Brian great question. Is it better to take off the valve cover then do the plugs reason I asked is I'm doing a 03 e320 valve cover gaskets and plugs
Working Hands Automotive Since you’re going to take the cover off anyways it will give you more room.
does anyone know what the tool is called to remove the coils?
Question, since you are removing an electrical connection with the ignition coils should you disconnect the battery when doing this job?
jaymalb29 as long as you don't turn the ignition switch on you and you are OK
Silly question, but is it possible to cross up a&b on the coil pack to the plugs? Would that cause a problem with a misfie?
Probably not a misfire. Because both spark plugs go to the same cylinder. Im nly entireley sure what would happen.... lol
👍👍
Where you’d get the tool to get the coils off
what's the overall length of those wires I got some from Amazon and they all came 10.5" wires
You may have gotten a universal set. The wires I installed on this vehicle had four wires that were slightly longer but I do not have the measurements for them.
Does this work for a 2002 c240
Can u please tell me where did you get the tool to pull the spark plug wires. Thnx
Bro same
Just use some hose pliers he made it way more complicated than it is
I have a 2003 c240 is it an identical procedure?
Errol Lambiro yes
it would have been helpfull to know the part number of that spark plug wire puller tool. if it's a factory tool, then a cross reference to a parts supply stores tool.
Hello. Getting parts and tools List for you guys is something I am working on. I'm hoping to have that available to everybody in up-and-coming weeks. I'm working with the tool dealers and parts suppliers now. Thank you again for watching and stay tune for that up-and-coming tools and parts list.
+How to Automotive, thanks. i bought a set of spark plug wire pulling plier. i fear they aren't long enough to give me the leverage to compleat that job. they are a tool i found at autozone.
+kf4dcy the wire puller I have are universal. They are pretty short that's why had to use the prybar. Thank you for watching and taking the time to write to me.
+How to Automotive i did a little reserch and found that m/b states a 17mm open end wrench will do it. I'm not sure if it needs thinning of the jaws on a grinder wheel or if it needs offsetting by taking a torch to one. the factory 17mm tool looks like a short jaw wrench and was made to do valve adjustments on 280 series m/b.
It would be nice to have the factory tool. But you get in to a job and you got to use what you got. Thank for the Tip.
what kinda spark plugs do you use on a 2001 c320?
Bryson Sato i’d like to try to use the factory wins. Which were Bosch. There is the link for them in the description of the video
I have a 2003 E500. Is the procedure the same?
Rick Mcphail that’s a nice car. I believe it is exactly the same.
How to Automotive it was fairly easy. Took about a hour
Rick Mcphail that’s awesome glad it all worked out.
You skipped over some things imo…
Bryan c240 2.6 engine socks no power to slow 😅😅😅😅
Why don't you actually do it rather than stupidly explaining it..
This is one of my very first videos when I did not have a tripod or camera mounts. I have all that stuff now so I show a lot more detail.
