    I’ve been doing one of these every day since new year. I record myself from the side to check my form. Still not 100% perfect on the last couple.

    Cool. However, you are resting between your upper arms. Your arms should fan out just a little bit more to form an arrow with your body. This makes it so much harder. In other words, you didn’t really do the challenge per say. In a real push up your arms are not glued to your side they are out a little. This leaves your body in a sort of suspension. This is what makes the long pauses so difficult.
