Airtag network would be good if I could use one on my android things
Indeed. I'm hoping Google starts to offer it's own OE tags, but I am hopeful for the offerings from Chipolo/Pebblebee/Eufy.
Imagine how much better everyone's user experience would be if Android and Apple were able to share more tools.
@@IllinoisDailyCarry For that to work, tag reporting would need to be opt-out and not opt-in tbh.
We shall see tho
@@efad3215 True, but I'm hoping the novelty of its newness will get more folks to opt-in. Fingers crossed.
@@IllinoisDailyCarryFunny enough, in Japan eufy only supports iOS and the other two nowhere to be seen yet. So.. not sure if u should use em for international travels
Great comparisons. In this day amd age, i need toook into one of these.
They are a nice little gadget if you're as forgetful as I am.
What could you suggest for me to grab to keep vehicle a little more secure? Have Samsung s23 ultra for phone. Been having different vehicles drive by slowly recently, ones I don't recognize. I have been pulling my fuel relay fuse to keep it safe but looking for another extra security measure in case they catch that. I noticed you mentioned LandAirSea 54 to another comment. Is that better than the tile pro?
The LandAirSea products are 10000x better. Totally different kind of device. Uses GPS and Cell Radio, as opposed to Bluetooth and piggybacking off other people's devices. $30 up front cost for the unit, and then $20/month to get location updates every 3min. You can get more frequently but then the cost goes up. Only downside is the battery life is lower since it is transmitting more, etc... so you'll have to pull it off and charge it. The company says based on normal driving habits it should last 7-14 days.
Thanks for this video . The Samsung work only with Samsung ? ( no xiaomi ? )
From what I read that is what I understand.
Yes, only Samsung Galaxy
Thanks
Hope it helped.
Can Tile Pro be used as anti-theft device? I mean can it beep when it loses connect to the phone?
I haven't seen that function. It will send you a notification when it is out of connection range.
Depending on what you are trying to put it on there are much better options that aren't too expensive.
@@IllinoisDailyCarry what are the better options? For Android, to be exact.
@@softshape Check out the LandAirSea 54
Having tried all three in japan. Airtag wins on accuracy but not updated often.
And samsung surprisingly isnt far behind at all. Esp considering its an iphone dominant market.
So yeah, samsung has a solid lead over other androids in this regard
Tile? Dont bother. Card has nice form factor. Thats it. Doesnt help.
Hahahaha. Yea, looking nice and functioning are definitely mutually exclusive.
I used the white tile tracker without a removable battery, It never helped me, I think the user base was small. The find my saved me one time when my bike got stolen.
No kidding? Where did you have it on your bike?
I think you are 100% accurate on the lack of user base.
