As a czech born - canadian/austrian raised guy, I have to say this is a banger. Hands dow to Janda, it wasnt easy learining english in communist Czechoslowakia. My stepdad got the best of the best english classes at the time (80s/90s) thanks to his dad having a high position as an electroengineer working on some stuff for the military, and even his accent is worse then Janda's. Till this day he has trouble blending in as an American when he talks to his coworkers in the US despite the fact his grammer is pitch perfect and him being 47 years old by now, soo....that gives you an idea of how difficult it was back then to learn english without an accent. Besides the point, I think if most of the young talent emigrated from Czechoslowakia to the West, they all would have been rockstars by the turn of the century. Matejka, Schelinger.....etc. Matejka, Schelinger... atd.
If you want to hear another english version of czech music from the late 80's, check out the album Shutdown by the band Stromboli. The pronounciacion and accent is a 100 times better than Janda's (so I don't know what really went wrong here)

To zní strašně divně. Hrůza v této řeči. Raději si to poslechnout v češtině.
