I am 70 years old and after teaching for 50 years I finally had the time to study art. Your tutorial was so very helpful and although you were worried about it taking a long time, I found it to be just perfect for me. I have never really been able to draw much more than a stick person and this my finished product after watching your tutorial was "proud-worthy"!! Thank you for teaching me!!

i just wanted to thank you. i haven't tried drawing for about 19 - 20 years and stumbling upon your videos has caused me to rekindle an old love affair. Thank you . your talent is inspirational, your lessons are meaningful and not only easy to follow , i feel that they actually teach the fundamentals and principals in way that is easy to understand and integrate into your own art work. Thank you again Mr Crilley . if i could afford to i would buy every last book you sold just to help support you and keep this content coming for many more years.

This was a wonderful evening spent together and I will probably buy some of your books in the future. I would post our drawing...but not sure how. Thanks again.

Just to say I'm loving your tutorials. Particularly how to draw realistic big cats and other animals.
Drawing has been a huge therapy for me after both my sons died within six months last year. With a pencil in my hand trying to follow your instruction I can escape the overwhelming sadness for a while at least. So thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.
Without the world wide web I might never have found the respite from grief that has kept me going. So thank you Mark. With all these thousands of miles between us we will never meet, so here I am letting you know it's not just about shading here and there, it's not just about positioning an eye or an ear, it's about making somebody smile when they thought they may never smile again. Cheers pal. Keep posting those lessons.

Wow! Thank you Mr. Criley, thanks to you I have a beautiful picture of a leopard. It's a big difference from the usual junk I draw, so people are really impressed. I even bought a black prisma to really finish off the drawing. Thanks again Criley!

You are amazing! I love your channel soo much, I got a CZcams account so I could comment! If you reply I will be the happiest person in the world! You are an amazing drawer, I know you probably get a lot of these comments but I can't even imagine if you replied! Don't listen to the hate comments, they are probably jealous but I think you are my favourite you Tuber! I was your 1937 subscriber! I wish that I could draw like you, I love your books soo much! I'm so sorry that this comment is so long, but I am sick right now and this video cleared my mind!

Thank you so much for making this video! I will definitely try this. The fact that you use a regular pencil and still get such a good drawing leaves me in awe... I hope to be as legendary as you. I think more poses instead of directly facing forward would improve the variety. Once again, THANK YOU!!
