ITS THE GOT DANG YEAR OF THE ELEMENTALLLLLLLLLL. Shoutout to Demogorgon and y’all for birthing me into being a DM! We rolled characters last night!

  • @TheMariosack

Was binging dungeoncast episodes for campaign ideas, immediately hit with a new one. Truly a blessing, shout out to Demogorgon.

  • @Demogorgon7007

You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for someone to cover this exact lore! Thank you 🙏

  • @andyenglish4303

Cryonax has a quasi-official 5E stablock in Minsc and Boo's Journal of Villainy.

  • @heysamuelhere2733

I always loved the idea of the plane or ice. Places so cold concepts freeze! I believe I read somewhere that time begins to slow from the cold, even coming to a complete halt in places cold enough.

  • @adampetra7865

Not sure about 5e, but the Sunrod was in 3/3.5 as well.

  • @HumanoidCableDreads

    Also known as Winnipeg.

  • @tylergordon1641

Great video love all the elemental videos this year! Oh and one thing to note there is a theory in one of the old D&D books that cryonax is actually a Demon Lord who switch places with the real ice Elemental Lord for some reason. Also shout out to demogorgon and his ixitxachitls homie!!!❤

  • @prestongarner8796

Are you guys gonna talk about the swamp of oblivion known as the plane of ooze’s? And Great conflagration known as the plane of ash?

  • @weswtf
    @weswtf  +1

Drift globe are the new sun rods

  • @r.downgrade5836

For those interested, in a world where light does not move, vision would work the following way:

  • @cameronpearce5943

Oh man you guys need to check out Minsc and Boo’s Journal of Villany. So many good stat blocks of creatures you’ve covered for 5e and it’s semi offical

  • @AjenjoAnejo

    Cool, literally.

  • @cameronpearce5943

I love damage that ignore immunity. Like a powerful fire elemental overlord burning lesser fire elementals as their fiery energy is consumed in a preternatural conflagration

  • @ericpeirce5598

After the mention of fire freezing and becoming black, ice-like flame, I now have a new magic item for the shop. It's a Coldfire torch that has a Deep Blueish/Black flame that radiates cold, lowering the temperature in a 30'radius by 10 degrees and gives off only dim light in a 10' radius. I may even have it where the overlapping areas of multiple ones can lower the temperature by an extra 5 degrees per extra torch affecting the area.

  • @timothybarr8246

Shout out to Demogorgon! I've been following for about 6 months. You guys are great for getting to sleep! In a good way though.

  • @scotmcpherson

Ok … you ready? Vanilla Ice had nothing to do with Under Pressure. That was a collab between Queen and David Bowie.

  • @PhthaloGreenskin

I ran an Adventure in the Frost Fell. My Samurai lighting Sorcadin had to Retrieve an ledgenary Artifact Shiranui. In my setting there were 2 Dragons, one of wind and one of water. They Battled Eachother Endlessly Until one day they destroyed an entire Civilization Of Genasi in the Frostfell. The 2 Dragons Each shed a tear and where they met formed a stone Full of Elemental Power. Legends said that should one thrust a balde into the stone, and should they prove worthy they would gain immense power. When the Sorcadin Thrust his blade into the Stone His mind was drawn out of his body into an Arena of ice where he had to fight himself, an exact carbon copy. We Rolled Initative and he got the first turn rolled 2 nat 20s and Killed his Mimic in 1 turn using level 5 smites. His Blade then underwent Metamorphosis and became Shirnui no Okami. It was essentially a Holy Avenger that had some Lighting and Ice based Spells attached to it. I think I named the Abilities Cry of the Wind and Scream of the Storm. This was during my Tyranny of Dragons game where my party permakilled Tiamat at level 25. It was a wild game.

  • @KingLlamaYTTTV
