Regarding Settings
Normally when you use a customised control scheme with L1 as weapon wheel you'll be restricted to using the left sticks directional input to select weapons. As a solution to have weapon select on the right sticks directional input, I use the Playstation custom button assignment to swap L1 with R2. So in game my weapon wheel is R2 and weapon mod is L1, but with custom button assignments it's swapped. - This only concerns players who use my control scheme. Use whatever is most comfortable. - Hry

As someone who is broke and is currently forced into console peasantry, this gives me hope.
This game and 2016 do have excellent controller gameplay, regardless. I was legit shocked when I first booted 2016 up. It's not as ideal as kb&m, but it isn't unplayable trash. It's nice when a company cares about their ports.
I miss bosses that didn't resort to summoning lesser demons or being stunned with green cartoonlike stars around their head in order to make an attack effective 😈😎😇
