Love the set up. Gave me a lot of ideas for my skiff. I have a 19’ CS with a 40hp mercury tiller. Big problem I have is every thing slides back to the stern as well. Thanks for the video, keep them coming.

Im currently thinking about changing how i have everything laid out in my j12, awesome little boat (and it runs 38mph with 1 person) but without the extra length it gets a little squished with 2 people some times, also your tripod on the cooler is a great idea that i might have to steal some time. I subbed to see some more content on this boat 🤘
I got pretty much the exact same setup as you. Do you have issues with the grip slipping on your minn kota? I’ve gotten into some pretty shitty situations cuz the grip said it was on zero but it was actually still going. Any tips?
The grip on it extends on mine but ive never had any issuse with it staying on while on the 0 setting. The cheaper minn kotas like the ones we have a shit quality tho. No better options out there tho unless u wanna spend a ton on one with i pilot

@@SlayaBoyz yamaha f25, it's a bit scary at full speed so i usually pop it up on plane and run about 28ish at 3500 rpm

I plan on getting a on the fly this summer got a dlx with a 25 but I push like 24 and feel like I should be getting more
ya u should pick up a few mph from the jack plate and run shallower
what is the brand of the "seadek" and how is it holding up?
i dont remember the brand but it was cheap stuff off amazon. Didn't last long before it started fading and washing off
