- We purchased a Balsam Hill Christmas tree in early January as part of their after-Christmas sales, and we unboxed the BH Balsam Fir Christmas tree (with clear LED lights) shortly after it arrived just to check it out. This week, we put up the Balsam Hill BH Balsam Fir 7ft and decorated it for Christmas. The big question is was it worth the money and would be recommend it.

Looks beautiful!. I agree they are a lifetime investment, I would never have a non pre-lit again. I used to have real trees but we now have UFH heating so real trees are a no go. The only thing I miss is the smell of real tree. 😍❤️🎄

All the balsam Christmas trees are perfectly well put together and very beautiful and so are the decorations too i will say it's hard to choose the right Christmas tree, they are design very well so how would we know which one to choose.i enjoy the video

I think that you mentioned in the videos difficulty in seeing colour and tree representation etc on the website - I was having the same issue. The colour on the website seems quite pale in comparison to the tree in your video - I’m excited because it seems to be the true green that I want it to be! It’s great to see what it looks like in real life, and your review was instrumental in helping me decide to order this exact tree (except that I’m getting the twinkly lights for the kids) in the Boxing Day sales. I'm so grateful for your well produced video. I just ordered the same Balsam tree from Balsam Hill and it will be delivered tomorrow. So it was reassuring to see your tree all set up and looking beautiful. I was curious that your new tree has a European electrical plug rather than the U.S. plug. Did you order it from a source in the U.K. or did you have to tell BH in California that you wanted a British plug? Also, I was surprised to hear you mention that your ceilings were 8 foot and the tree was 7 foot. I thought that you were on the metric system and we Americans were the oddballs still using feet and inches and miles. Thanks for the beautiful video. And good on you for using a separate lavaliere microphone. So many amateur CZcamsrs treat audio as an afterthought. Merry Christmas.
Tony, thank you for your positive comments and feedback. Massively appreciated. Balsam Hill have a UK website that caters for British consumers, so we received a British three pin plug. The EU, just as a fun fact , have a different plug to the UK and US.

As for the UK and measurements, both centimeters/meters and inches/feet are used. Road speeds and distances are in miles per hour and miles too. It’s a hodge lodge.
We invested in lav mics this year because audio is very important. It does, however, take time during a CZcams evolution to address audio. But we’re hopefully improving our quality with each passing video and our videos are so much better than when we started out, so we do appreciate the acknowledgment and that you’ve noticed. Thank you.

Yes I did - we added one set of copper wire fairly lights - hardly noticeable.

Thank you L R. That's very kind. We got the candles from Lights4Fun, but there are many other brands on Amazon. We opted for the LED candle light because it's more of a traditional look, so it's completely personal preference.

Hello, thank you for making this video! I am considering purchasing this tree but was wondering if the branches are bendable? For instance, if I wanted to bend a branch up to create more room for a longer or heavier ornament, would I be able to do so? Or are the branches the ones that stay put and cannot be shaped? I an hopeful that they are bendable since you said you fluffed your tree, but most silicone branches I've found are not. Any clarification/insight you can provide would be so appreciated! Thank you!
Yes they are bendable. You will be able to bend up to create more room for your longer or heavier ornaments if you want.

It’s called a paper folding tree skirt. Good luck - hope you can find one States-side.
