President Dallin H. Oaks, first counselor in the First Presidency, spoke during the Sunday morning session of April 2024 general conference. He spoke on covenants and responsibilities.

The only covenant you need is the covenant that our Lord Jesus made, when he died on the cross and shed his blood for us, there was a covenant of grace that was established. Because of the grace that is given to us by Jesus we are able to be like him. We cannot achieve to the Kingdom of God by ourselves, we cannot do it, it is by the gift of faith that is given to those who believe in the biblical Jesus, with faith we begin to love him, with this love we are obedient to him, Jesus is sufficient, we need nothing more.
