This girl is asking genuine questions and at her age of course she would not know what a Cedar is. Someone below criticized her for not knowing that a Cedar is a very large tall tree.
Rays message is always Pointing to the sacrifice of Christ to save us from our hopeless condition. Fear is a powerful motivator and the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

This lady is rare today in that she can have an intellectually honest conversation. The ability to discuss and understand the other perspective even if she's not sure of it. If Dawkins was only so humble
What conversation did she have? All she did was keep nodding and agreeing with pretty much everything he said. I didn't see any discussion at all. This was pretty much a best case scenario for Ray, meet someone on the street and make them stand there and listen to you preach without any rebuttal. Is this what you want atheists like Dawkins to become, just a bunch of yes men that agree with Christians without any counter arguments?
Sick of everything she said she asked many people and until now never got a good answer. Sounds like a conversation to me. This is called intellectual argument. Discussion. Not everything is an argument. And she thanked him for his perspectives and for answering her questions.
Sick of everything also something Ray didn't get a chance to get into is the ark was not full when God closed the door. There was still more room. God was hoping people would change their minds. But they worshiped themselves.
First off she is a Christian, she said so herself. Hence the reason why she didn't really challenge anything he said. Second, he barely let her talk. Watch the part at 2:50, he cuts her off mid sentence. Wouldn't call that a discussion when only one side gets to have their say. Third, this wasn't an "intellectually honest conversation" because as Ray said so himself at 3:00 "I want to speak to your conscience, those questions you had were to do with your intellect. I want to speak to your conscience which is something completely different". Even banana man knows that in a conversation about intellect his shtick would fall flat hence the reason why he tries to change it to 'speaking to her conscience'.

Unfortunately, Doria, this mental conversion technique never yields fruit. Nobody will come to God with their intellect. The heart needs to repent. The kingdom of God is NOT in words, but in power. Pray for the sick to be healed. This is what gets people's attention.

This tender hearted woman reminds me of myself when I was younger. Always asking the hard intelligent questions in Sunday school because I was genuine, yet it somehow got translated as being spiteful and rebellious.
Asking questions is normal, all the respect and love to Ray for preaching the Word and the gospel, many have come to the Lord because of it! But some could literally receive it wrong, millennials and younger generations are tired of lectures, we want a physical demonstration of Who He is. I really wish older generations actually listened instead of automatically belittling and talking ears off. Children ask to understand, not because they’re dumb. Jesus did say to become childlike and to LET the little children come to Him.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
It does not say... You can add up the ages of the people in the genealogy of Jesus and figure out approximately when God created the Earth. It's about 6000 years ago. No time in their for an ice age. Also, ice samples and tree rings are not reliable for dating methods, in that they don't measure years.

Hey Ray, I'm with you. But almost everyone agrees there was an ice age--creationists would say there was one, and deep time advocates would posit several. The best explanations for the specific requirements for an ice age come from creationists, who posit that it came after the the Genesis flood.

Through your explanation of fear being a tool needed, I got a revelation I had been searching for for almost 10yrs of being born again!
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" has always stumped me because "there is no fear in love; perfect love casts out fear". These 2 verses seemed mutually exclusive; but your analogy of the plane to this young lady is the perfect example!
To stay in fear or have a spirit of fear, is terrible! But to have the initial fear is good as it can open up wisdom to turn to the one who can destroy both body and soul, the Creator of all things.
The tool called fear is different from the spirit or mindset of fear ❤ and Love is greater than any tool!

I used to teach this nonsense until I stopped and read the text slowly and carefully.
Some things there, most things in fact are metaphors
And things that are to be taken literally are missed because it's inconvenient
So yes, this girl seems wonderfully sincere. But it seems everyone praises this as an honest conversation, hoping more atheists could be like her etc. Please go back and re watch it. There basically is no conversation, just few questions and some long answers. There is no contrary world view being represented, so obviously all Christians will see it as the perfect conversation. "Yay we weren't exposed for having no evidence for our ridiculous claims, oh how I hate that all atheists have to argue so much, I wish everyone would nod and just stand there..."

I think Ray missed an important part of Job: "16 Lo now, his strength [is] in his loins, and his force [is] in the navel of his belly" ....Dinosaurs hatched from eggs. They wouldn't have navels. The description cannot be a dinosaur. Oops? Back to the drawing board to find more conveniently placed proof text.
Actually the important part would be the original Hebrew text. The original word used is "shârîyr", which is defined by Heinrich Genesius' Hebrew Lexicon (often referred to as the father of modern Hebrew Lexicography) as being "the firm parts of the belly. i.e. the nerves, ligaments, muscles."

Strange that the people who translated the bible, and continue to translate the bible, couldn't figure that out. They must all must have been pretty dumb to translate it to the word navel right? With such a glaringly obvious error, they probably got simple words like "tail" wrong too then didn't they? Why hasn't anyone figured this out and rewritten that passage? Everyone thinks they are a biblical scholar these days when the word choice isn't convenient. The text in Hebrew describes the navel. If you disagree with the biblical scholars translation to English then I suggest you take their word choice up with them. Until then, the bible says navel and if the bible is the word of God then that places you in the inconvenient position of disagreeing with the God that you believe in. It's OK to disagree with your God though. Jewish people do it all the time.
It seems that the authors of the bible believed that the navel really was some kind of center for strength. Pro 3:8 "It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." There is no ambiguity with the word choice here. They literally meant navel according to your own source. Therefore, I am going to side with the biblical scholars and assume they got it right in Job. The English word "navel" is consistent and within the context of what they were referring to elsewhere in the bible.
