We need more realistic sword scenes, and not those of knights or samurais. It was tradition in the early US for presidents to duel with small swords before flintlocks became the standard. We need an Andrew Jackson movie. A Jackson Action movie.
So if I wanted to takeover Mexico for myself all I would have to do duel the president beat him then it’s mine, the people have to rely on one man and then they don’t have a choice when I win I tell them to do what I want? No, you got to war to defend
Back the all the leaders were young and warriors. Look at the ages of the founding fathers of America. Now all our elects are old lazy selfish/greedy cowards. We need smart brave courageous young men to lead the world again
technically that’s not a duel that’s a standoff as a duel has only 2 people a standoff has three in a duel you have to be faster that’s your opponent in a standoff you have to convince one of the people in the standoff to shoot the other
Were gunfights like those that appear in western movies actually taking place? Of course, this was done on a daily basis. The history of western expansion was not completely a thing of the past until around 1900. In those days, bandits similar to those in Westerns still existed, and occasionally they would engage in gunfights with sheriffs.
@@eliaskjrbo8142 Stuff like this did happen but they were more sloppy and random and well ironically "wild" than how there presented in the films. Especially the western from the 1950s alltho they are good films they are very historically exaggerated. But make no mistake duels and standoffs did indeed happen like this Especially during wars. Infact they had to ban duels in wars because the soldiers were just killing each other which definitely doesn't help win. I hear a true story where 2 guys at a saloon were having an argument and one of them challenged for a duel. The other said "I'll get my gun" which was in his rented room. The guy who challenged the other thought that he had pussied out so he left the saloon and went to see his mistress from the other side of the road. The guy who went to get his gun then came out the saloon while holding his revolver. However the guy who went to see his mistress and his right arm hooked over his mistress so he couldn't grab his gun from his holster when he saw the guy from the saloon point the gun at him. Ofcourse the guy shot him 3 times whiek the poor woman just stood there standing right next to his soon to be husband get shot 3 times and the reason why he died was all because of her preventing his to grab his revolver in time. That sounds just like out of a western film. But yeah they are overexagerated altho the west was still very lethal and well wild.
How did they get worse as they went on? I bet however made this has only seen 4 westerns then they ordered it how they wanted to from there I mean come on they put the good, the bad, and the ugly at number 5 and Silverado number 1!!! Don’t get me wrong I love Silverado but they don’t even have the duels from once upon a time in the west!!!
For a Few Dollars more. It's part of a spaghetti western trilogy known as "The Dollar Trilogy" or "The man with no name trilogy" all three films stars Clint Eastwood. "A Fistful of Dollars" then "For a Few Dollars more" and then the greatest western ever made "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" I'd watch them all in that order.
Damn... All rdr players come together 😂😂🔥🔥

This is how a conflict between 2 countries should be resolved. Let the 2 leaders duel, not the damn innocent people.

Silverado is so damn good
The subtle (or maybe not so subtle) symbolism was set well such as the church behind the "good guy" and the wasteland behind the "bad guy".

I love that meme scene
Yooooo I thought the first one was GOOD BAD UGLY which tripped me out because that's NOT how the the good the bad the ugly ended lmao
It’s funny after the GBU those same 3 actors were in a ton of other westerns together, switching between good and bad guys.
I swear to god it is so fucking hard to pull your pistol and shoot immediately from the hip!!! I keep trying and I keep failing miserably!!!
