Looks great , I’m fed up with the weather here in the Uk although sun did come out and reached nearly 20 degrees so very pleasant. But of course I’d rained the following day lol . Darwin always looks pretty chilled 👍
It is a chilled out place. 34 degrees to day which is perfect for our annual music festival, Bass in the Grass. Killer sunset as its right on Mindil beach.
I often talk about 2019. I was there in may that year. But quiet and overcast. Certainly Melbourne is already cold. If I came up I would have to face the prospect of returning South. My health is not too flash at present. So my Gastroenterologist does not recommend my travel, not even in Australia. Apparently Darwin Hospital does not specialize in my type of health needs. Maybe one day soon I hope. Cheers.
Hey Philip, sorry to hear of your health struggles. We do have some typical tropical bugs in our water. Hope to see you back in the North when you can. Cheers Gavin
Not tired of winter in Brisbane- just sick of 3 years of not being able to complete a week without constant rain regardless of what season it is. Spring was wet, summer was wet, autumn is wet and winter is set to be wet. Ridiculous. Even you guys get a dry season.
Very beautiful 😍 Thank you 🙏 so much, lovely small and clean city. Melbourne is huge and cold 😀😀😀☔️😧

I moved to Darwin in 2020... after living all my life in Melbourne. I was 73 then...
Should had done it years ago.
Its a different vibe to the big cities. Glad you are happy here.
Massive development of CBD in last twenty years - only to be expected I suppose. I really miss the place at times. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching David. Dry season is always great. Lots of events and activities happening.
A lot of construction at the bottom end of Mitchell street.
The old Duck,s Nuts and old cinema have been gutted . They are building a new entertainment venue. Pub ,restaurant and nightclub in one.
Malls kills business
Yep, its seems ok until about 2 pm then zilch.
Darwin is very boring city even not even one shopping centre !
We have Casuarina square. Its approx 20 minutes from the city centre.
