Rhino Pencil Drawing Process

- The process for this drawing was long and intense, from the planning, pouring slip over a 3D printed model and trying to make my hands look like they were emerging from a swampy landscape, to slowly drawing every little detail in the rhino's skin. I enjoyed the playfulness of planning this piece. the excitement of the process and expectations of how it might look when the drawing was finished, gave me so much energy to push through the tedious moments when i felt like it would take too long.
I hope you enjoy this little video capturing the process behind the drawing.

The music, composition and harmony are something that is not always repeated, I was truly creative
Watching Sir Jono while working fills my soul. The amount of passion, energy, and vibe he puts into his artwork makes me feel alive, and I too wish to create something my own

So, I draw a rhinoceros and then Jono Dry draws a rhinoceros. Coincidence or what? 🙂
What is the materiales that You use? The most obscure color is charcoal?
He uses Graphite

Hi
First here
As being a pencil artist myself, what if I could fix the biggest problem with pencil drawing we have? No more smearing with our hands as we draw, no more going through pieces of paper or such to rest our hands on causing even it to smear. Interested?
