  • Wrought iron spindles look great, but they are certainly time-intensive to install (and expensive if you are hiring someone). Watch dad use the Carolina Stair Supply Rail Zip-Clip system to make the installation a bit easier. No epoxy, no glue, no drilling spindle holes into railings or steps.

Thanks so much I hate to point this out but I believe safety code requires a spacing of NO MORE THAN 4 inches to avoid children getting their heads stuck in between. These appear to be a little wider. Anyways, please keep in mind all future installs. Great video very helpful

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll have to check this out. I simply replaced the old balusters, so the spacing is exactly the same.

Wow this is an easy way to install the spindles. Thank you! - What do you use to cut the spindles?

Yeh it’s a lot simpler. I just used a hacksaw to cut them. I have a longer, more in-depth video coming ina few weeks

Be very careful ordering from this company. It did not work for our stairs and we had shipping back as well as an out of date ridiculous 25% restocking fee. NO one whatsoever does this with any vendor I have dealt with in the past 10 years, this is old school business. This is a main idea why Amazon has taken over the market because they are much easier to work with. To take a reasonable size box and restock them and charge me $75 for this is a complete money grab for sure.
BE VERY AWARE OF THIS ALL....

Are the tops of your current balusters narrower than the new wrought iron ones? Is that what you are saying?

@@daddoesvideos yes I believe I will have to get a wider oak trim piece to attach first

@investing2000 Without seeing it, my hunch is that you are right. Good luck!
