I don't want to sound rude, but no duh hiring an interior designer is expensive. Poor people don't pay other people to decorate their houses. Only rich people do that. The poor go to Ikea and assemble their furniture their damn selves.

She did say that she helped her pick stuff for the house but I totally see what you’re saying with this. Sometimes we need a template to work off of and make it personal for ourselves. She could add stuff later to make it more her style with the organization and ideas the designer gave her. That’s kind of how I’ve done my home. I watched others and took their ideas then make it more personal to fit my aesthetic.
