I love how you addressed this. It’s up to us as sellers to do our due diligence and make sure items we are selling are authentic, and sources we use are legit. I can’t tell you how many fake vintage Coach bags I now own. But I would never sell them. They are stuck with me as “bad buys” and I chalk it up and move on.

Your comment really hits me hard. Back in 1990 I bought about 8 Coach bags because I loved the full grain leather. I purchased them directly from Coach and kept the receipts all these years. I also have some up for sale on Posh. However, they don’t sell well. I look at other bags from the early 1990s and think that I may want to purchase them. I think I can tell if they’re real. But your comment makes me wonder if I can really tell if they’re real. I thought it would be not profitable to make fake vintage Coach bags as the full grain leather (no lining inside) would make these bags difficult to manufacture. Now I’m second guessing. Also I see now that these fake Coach bags destroy the real value of the authentic items as I get too many lowball offers.

@@mqua4610 such great points, and you’re absolutely correct, the fake/replica items hurt resale of the authentic pieces for a myriad of reasons, but the biggest being over-saturating the market and diminishing the exclusivity of highly coveted items. And here’s a fun wrinkle to add further anxiety for you, back in the 90’s unscrupulous scammers would exchange fake coach bags for real ones at the coach store. Coach did not figure it out initially, and so they would turn around and resell these nice quality fakes that had been returned to them as authentic bags because the sales people were not aware and not educated enough that it was happening and to be on the lookout for it. I completely agree with you, it’s crazy to me that they went to these links, because the good fake coach bags are incredible, leather and beautifully constructed. I’ve often wondered why they did not just create their own line of bags because they probably could have done really well and made a name for themselves. so sad. There are some great vintage Coach authentication groups on FB if you want peace of mind that your bags are authentic, or you can email me and I can try to help.

Thanks for putting out this video. For those who think these faker sellers are not doing damage, think again. First: fakes cheapen the brand! People are walking around their neighborhoods with these bags attracting the attention of strangers wanting to see and feel the Luluemon bags. Then when the strangers feel the cheap quality, they don’t want to buy the “brand” because “it feels cheap.” Second: some people aren’t discerning but they buy these bags thinking that are authentic and pay high prices for them. Then when they go to sell it or find out they paid for a fake, it can be too late to get their money back. For people who say that these bags cost less than the authentic, can you imagine the pennies the faker sellers paid for this crap? Fakers! Make your own bags and sell them with your own logo!

Dude I bought a fake lululemon bottle and I’ve had the worst experience with this. I’ve spend hundreds in her shows and contacted WN and they said they can’t do anything bc they don’t authenticate those items so I messaged Rosie and she said the items were unauthentic and she didn’t know. However; your CZcams video got brought up in the chat in her live and Diana said “well they can believe what they want”. Sooo I commented and said “I’m confused bc Rosie told me that all of the items from those streams were unauthentic” and I got BLASTED from the chat saying I’m an attention seeker and so many other buyers have gotten blasted from this stupid chat. I’m over this crap. So messed up. And yes. She zelled me my refund. Also, placed an order over a week and a half ago and still hasn’t shipped. She said she doesn’t have access to her orders so she can’t check for me. So great

Wow, WN that’s great. You just gave scammers a loop hole by saying you “don’t authenticate those types of items” I bought a few fake items and reported them to WN, they sent me a label and had me ship to their place in Arizona. They said they would authenticate them there. If they are real they would ship back to me, if not they would send me all of my money back ( shipping plus item) 1 was an item of clothing the other was a purse. Got money back on both items . So many people don’t know about that or even to reach out to WN for items that are damaged ( not disclosed damage) and are out so much money . I also asked a seller the other day if they get charged or penalized when we as buyers go to WN for refunds on bad items. I was told no, only if it’s excessive. Well I was buying from a seller and had many bad items (but many great ones at amazing prices- that’s why I continued to shop with them) and I went to WN gif every bad item, because they NEVER message you back, and they are still operating and selling bad damaged items . So doesn’t seem WN cares about accountability or authentication. But dear lord , don’t let a reputable seller call out a bad seller- the good one gets banned - sorry I’m still mad for her

Soooo, the curiosity was killing me - who the seller was, I found her last night . They had a show last night - but wasn’t selling any “Lululemon “ . Someone asked the seller ( the same one as the blurred picture) and she tried to be apologetic and even encouraged people if they were uncomfortable with their purchases to reach out for a refund. Then said a couple crappy things about you. I had never been to one of her shows ( and won’t need to again. ) But it does seem she’s trying to make it right and give refunds, and also not selling any more but the problem is how many people bought and don’t realize they’re fake or don’t know how to go about getting their money back. And you’re right ignorance is not above the law. As a seller it is our responsibility to do our research to make sure our items are authentic. Thanks for the video- can’t wait to hear who the other fake seller is.
