There is already a villain who captured the island or causing trouble in the island and luffy and his crew goes and defeats the villian. This thing keeps on happening again and again and again. 2) After fishman island, 1 chapter of manga don't have enough material to convert it into 20 min episode. If you compare it to any ,literally any other manga you will notice the difference. But still they make one episode of one chapter of the manga. And to fill in the time, they just show repeat of previous episodes and also they show faces of every character one by one(like indian tv serials).They are making more episodes because they want to earn more money(probably). It honestly feels like every episode after fishman island is in slow motion.
Not even one chapter, sometimes it's just a few panels/pages. On thriller bark, the 1 page of Oars being revealed ended up taking like 10 minutes in the anime for some reason.

I started in Dec 2021 and now i'm on episode 987. I finished water 7 and Enies Lobby in 3 days, Marineford in 5 days and Dressrosa in 7 days and i left only filler episodes except G-8 I will watch them though after catching up to latest episode and also the movies. But All I have to say that One piece is the greatest anime.
There is nothing like a greatest anime..... every show has its own flaws and traits...... Giving your favourite anime the title of the ' Greatest anime ' is just a biased thing..

@@htxflow How much filler do you think is in one piece. I wish filler was the problem since it could be skipped. Only about 11% of one piece is filler, which isn't that bad for a long running anime. Especially when you compare it to Naruto's 41% and Bleach's 45%. One piece's issue is the fact the pacing(mainly the anime). To put it into perspective, the typical episode to manga chapter ratio is around 1 episode per 2-3 chapters. While some One Piece arcs are 1 episode per three quarters of a chapter.
i started on march 30th and as of today on may 31st i am 847 episodes down..and thats when i read mangas like vagabond and berserk to name a few.... its just that good..... you know it would be better if just finish it now and shelve it for a year untill a decent amount of episodes are out....otherwise jt would be just painful watching 1 episode at a time... at least 3 episodes back to back is what makes you feel that you have watched a normal anime episode....other wise it just hangs at the wrong place...

Definitely not the best Anime. Post timeskip ruined it. Pre timeskip there's nothing else that made me feel that way it was truly special. HxH, FMAB definitely have the better overall anime.

RGEW when luffy uses the King Kong gun on Doflamingo, the struggle took like a whole episode. In the manga luffys attack overpowered Doflamingos attack in 1 panel
I gave it a try. They sometimes cut out important parts of scenes, which makes it jump around confusingly. Maybe One Pace will be necessary when it gets really bad post-time-skip, but I'm willing to tolerate the original for now.
recaps are long but i for one prefure long recaps with an episode than wait 4 years for then to make 100 eps then wait another 4 years cause of how close they are to the manga

Rule of thumb for shonen anime: The manga is always better and every fan who reads the manga will never let you hear the end of it.
Usually true for long running shows with lots of filler but otherwise depends. Examples: Hunter X Hunter, FMAB, Attack on Titan, so on.

That's about it. The show drags its feet just to tell the story and its extremely repetitive when it finally gets around to it. There are tons of anime better than one piece like fmab, aot, hxh, code geass, etc. The worst part is one pieces fan base who thinks the show can do no wrong when its literally just decent.

The latest arc is an improvement, but we shouldn't have had to wait literally 20 YEARS for the animation to look great. One Piece deserves better. I hope when the story is over, the animators rework it and take their time doing that.

I started in Dec 2021 and now i'm on episode 987. I finished water 7 and Enies Lobby in 3 days, Marineford in 5 days and Dressrosa in 7 days and i left only filler episodes except G-8 I will watch them though after catching up to latest episode and also the movies. But All I have to say that One piece is the greatest anime.

Just imagine when Oda is finished with One Piece, they do a Celebration rework of the whole series, with actual good pacing, putting multiple chapters into one episode and having the level of animation from Wano. Bruh I'd give my life to see that.

@@htxflow How much filler do you think is in one piece. I wish filler was the problem since it could be skipped. Only about 11% of one piece is filler, which isn't that bad for a long running anime. Especially when you compare it to Naruto's 41% and Bleach's 45%. One piece's issue is the fact the pacing(mainly the anime). To put it into perspective, the typical episode to manga chapter ratio is around 1 episode per 2-3 chapters. While some One Piece arcs are 1 episode per three quarters of a chapter.
i started on march 30th and as of today on may 31st i am 847 episodes down..and thats when i read mangas like vagabond and berserk to name a few....
its just that good.....
you know it would be better if just finish it now and shelve it for a year untill a decent amount of episodes are out....otherwise jt would be just painful watching 1 episode at a time...

Definitely not the best Anime. Post timeskip ruined it. Pre timeskip there's nothing else that made me feel that way it was truly special. HxH, FMAB definitely have the better overall anime.

Opening 16 is my absolute fave because it would've been the perfect final opening. Plus the Gear Fourth reveal was incredible

I gave it a try. They sometimes cut out important parts of scenes, which makes it jump around confusingly. Maybe One Pace will be necessary when it gets really bad post-time-skip, but I'm willing to tolerate the original for now.

Repeating the same thing like luffy goes befriends someone in alabasta, fishman island, dressrosa, and now wano and roams around and zoro gets lost and then luffy and zoro both come at last moment and defeat main antagonist and zoro defeats second strongest
And luffy always meets princesses by luck and this time in wano zoro meets princess, note that i am not a hater, atleat there will be war in wano which is different
