I've seen a lot of videos, yours the first with no talking. I must say, the no talking and actually showing us the items and description, made it even better. Great job!!
Thanks man!
I agree with you !! I actually got to like focus on each detail rather than trying to hear through the rambling , making me squint my eyes to think through it 😭😹😹😹 I really enjoyed this video & feel confident I can do it :)) thank you !!
I called around for this to see how much it costs , 200 the cheapest just to change them . Watched a couple videos & thought easy enough I’ll just do it 💁🏼♀️ I’ll lyk if my car starts or not after lol 🫠🤣
Yeah, but those birds in the background are annoying
@@SpritualTechniques not really, I prefer birds than a clown talking 10 minutes without stopping 😂
This is one of the best-made videos I have seen. It is very clear, quiet and absolutely self-explanatory. Thank you.
Thanks for making this video! Straight forward, very clear and easy to watch. You saved me about $160 and I had it finished in about 20 minutes! Thanks again.
Perfect! Thank You! Thank You for no annoying music, no stupid intro, no over-talking! Thank You for just getting right to it and (Gittn er done!) THIS is the way to make a CZcams instructional video! Also, good that you use anti-seize and dielectric grease!
11:58 "Bruh you said this would take like 20 mins, then we would go get catnip"
😂
This was the best demonstration film I've ever seen. It was so clear on ever step of the procedure. Fantastic.
The shop was going to charge me $176 for such an easy operation. I really appreciate videos like these!
500$ out here in Albany oregon at Power Honda

@@yourrealdad3809😮😮😮
@@yourrealdad3809Dealers are bad, but Honda dealers seem to be worse than bad. I just did sway bar links, dealer wanted $550!. It cost me $30 and 30 minutes. they wanted $250 for spark plugs! Criminal
Love this guys style, straight to the job, no talking, Just business. Very clear about torque, socket size, & unlocking of pins, and essential lube application.
Me being a woman I feel like I can do this myself after watching your video.... You made it look so easy.. GREAT VIDEO 👍
Your silence speaks volumes! Thanks for the help! :)
Awsome video, wish more people would just shut up and do there work like how you did. Beautiful hands by the way. Going to get the magnet and the spark plug socket today so I can change them this weekend. Awesome video!
Thank you!
Thank u bro dealer tried charging me 300$ for this and i did it for only $30 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The cvt fluid is easy to change..this looks easy..collant looks easy...easy peasy car to keep up..and jus think its a honda..its gonna last forever with routine easy DIY maintance!
Same here. Honda tried charging me $378. Did it for $38
Thank you kindly for all of your help! Just did this job in 20 minutes and it couldn't have been more straightforward!
Another fantastic easy to follow video. Saved a net of $110 versus having the dealer do it.
thanks for video! This job was super easy. I did buy the magnetic thin walled socket which made this job even easier. Took me no more than 20 minutes to change all four start to finish. Easy job.
Bro love the straight to the point video with no talking!!! Good job on this !!
the cat supervisor checking your work if its correct.
Awesome Video , the no talking makes it so straight forward, please do more videos like this!!!!
Just came to the dealership this morning for valve cover gasket replacement wich is $190 and they advised me to change the spark plugs wich will cost me $317 and I was like no thank you, so I jumped to CZcams and your video is the first that came. After watching the whole video I was dam I'm glad I didn't go for it. Thank you for video it saves me probably $200
Great video. Step by step, showing what size socket, not rambling. Well done. Thank you.
Just wanted to thank you for this video... 20 mins I was done... Did everything u showed us..cost me..$97.00 again . thank you so much...
Thank you for making this video. No talking no music straight to the point. Great job bud! Subed here
There needs to be a new movement to videography like this. Quiet, yet clearly understandable. 🏆🏆🏆🏆
No talking just action. Perfect. Good video.
Some guys get caught up in their vocal explanations too much. Use it only when needed.
Very well done vid, thanks for posting it! Your technique obviously worked well, when I reinstall the plugs I like to use a 1/4" rubber fuel hose to start the threads. All the best.
Yep thats another technique. Thanks for watching.
Looks like he jusb sed good hand\finger technique?
Wow🎉Bro thank you!
Bring back this CZcams.
No talking, just showing me what I wanted searched for.

Great video
So I m not sure shall I go ngk or denso, new ngk HX what I am thinking any inputs on this?
4 cylinder is timing chain or belt like v6 ?
Ali Nawaz NGK. Chain on i4 v6 use belt
I didn't put any antiseize or dielectric grease on when I replaced the new ones, hello! Should I remove them and do again?
@@guillermofromjupiter No. Anti-sieze should never be used on the zinc coated spark plugs. The zinc is the sacrificial element that breaks loose when changing older spark plugs. Adding anti-seize, dielectric compound, or any other lube can greatly affect the torque applied to the spark plug upon install. You can easily over torque them, and either strip the head threads, or break the spark plug. Anti-seize is reserved for the old black oxide style of spark plugs.
Thanks for the video, simple, clear and straight to the point. Just a heads up, the extension rods are linked to the wrong side.
Professional to the last detail!
Awesome video. Effective and no talking, easy subscribe!
Thanks to you brother I just changed my spark plugs on my Honda right now
Silence is Platinum. AWESOME video. The cat inspector had to see if you were using the correct tools. Lol. Thanks a million.
Changed spark plugs in 30 mins. Would have been sooner but florida flies and mosquitoes caused a 5 to 7 min Delay at 645 am. Lol
I just subscribed because I like the no talking.... It's easier than getting bombarded with nonsense...!!!!
Great job...!!!!
Great job, thanks for the clear instructions and tool list
Anytime!
The best video I've seen yet straight to the point no talking
Amazing work 🙏 thank you
Dealerships are overpricing their services
Very good video. You still managed to show the important details and didn't go off rambling about why you got this car, what you ate last Friday how your girl nags at you or anything. You simply made a great video on how to change spark plugs thank you for that
This was a good DIY even without the commentary. Straight forward and ever step was shown. Do the plugs have to be gapped or are the pre gapped and what is the torque setting for the plugs? Thanks
The new plugs come pre-gapped but it's a good idea to check the gap before you install them. Torque spec is 13 lbf.ft of torque.
Thank you buddy. The most clean and clear spark plug replacement video on CZcams.
Great job 👏.
1 question. Don't you need to adjust the Gap on the plug ??
I'm about to do mine next week.
Thanks
They come pre gapped but doesnt hurt to check the gap before install
Excellent step by step with great recommendation to use aluminum anti-seize and dielectric greast!!!
Thanks man, you probably saved me an hour of poking around. 🙌🏻
Thank you sir. What a great video. No sniffling , coughing , bootleg music. Just down to bussiness.
Thanks to this video I changed my own spark plugs. Super easy to do and saved 100s of $ by not going to the dealership or any local garage
Just use the same spark plugs you took out then it costs you no $.
cant believe i was abt to pay somone to do this. way easier than my buick lesabre. thanks for the video man u can bet i liked it and subscribed
THANK YOU FOR NOT TALKING!!! Amazing video
Thank God a video that gets straight to the point you're a hero lol
I absolutely love this straight-to-the-point style video and having the tools linked is awesome.
I have one odd question though. Not that it really matters but why drop the new plugs in when you have a magnetic plug socket?
You could put the plug in the socket for install, just make sure the tip doesn't bang against anything
cool video, i like the no talking.....easily done than said.
Gonna have to watch a lot more videos. Makes it seem so simple and easy. Only thing that sucks is buying all the expensive tools.
Jus need a basic socket set..way cheaper then a mechanic
Jus need a basic socket set..way cheaper then a mechanic
Tools are one time investment and will most likely pay off on the very first job. Check the links I post in the description for good tools that won't make you broke.
Wow excellent video! Thanks for sharing! Short sweet and simple!
Thanks for showing us man, we appreciate it. It was cool when the cat came out too 😆
Lol my supervisor 😹
Awesome video... Will be doing this service soon... I went by my dealership...they wanted over 300.00
FOR A MINUTE I THOUGHT I HAD MY PHONE ON MUTE MODE. OVERALL GREAT VIDEO.
You didn’t say a word but said a lot! 👏👏👏
Thank you. Just changed mine and this was my guide. ❤❤❤
Thank you! Your video has helped me greatly!
Thank you for your video !! Was their no spark plug gap to check on the new plugs before installing them??? What is the gap supposed to be??
They're pre-gapped but nothing wrong to check the gap before install
Well done! Also nice to see you have QA/QC cat on duty!
Love your videos, thanks.
Great video! Do you need to adjust the gap of the spark plugs?
Silence is golden
good job . very clear and descriptive.
AWESOME video, great job...
Exelent video. Directo al grano sin tanto rollo.
👍🏼
I have a 2004 odyssey, do you have a video on changing spark plugs, pcv valve, etc?
Thank you
I have on the later models but they are very similar. Check out my channel videos.
Great video, thanks man. Quiet spark plug change ASMR
Awesome video. The birds were very excited apparently 😂.
Very informative video, thanks
Thank you for the video. Well done. Did I miss the torque setting on the wrench? Thanks again.
I don't use a torque wrench but if you do very carefully torque them to 14-16 lbf.ft
Great video. Great car ! I just love my Accord !!!
This is like DIY maintenance ASMR, lol.
I do love your videos a lot!!! however, I have a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta sport, can you show me how to replace its spark plugs? Thanks!
Bring your car over to me ;)
This ' how to ' video should be at the top of the list for views. I think the kids today could use a couple of school courses taught with only the hands. They aren't shown how to actually learn something they can do with their hands and not just listen to what the teacher has to say about that.
Thx for the video. I have a 2013 Honda Accord with 75,000 miles. When I should change the spark plug? Do I need to change only when I see the maintenance comes on the dashboard?
@100k miles.
Give em a check just to be safe.
thanks for the upload! what are the torque specs for the spark plugs?
MuffyThePomeranian 13-16 lbf.ft
You can used the same coil. To remove the plug from the shaft if you don’t have that magnet
You could but they dont stay in most of the time lol
Thanks, I followed this to change my plugs! 👍🏾
Thank you so much for this video! Love your style, straight to the job.. no talking, just business. You really helped me to do it my self! Just saved some good money 🫶🏼
Would you recommend changing the ignition coil and spark plugs at the same time at 110k miles?
Nah just the plugs.
Easy to follow video on your Accord! Do you think you could make a video on how to install an oil catch can on this Accord to alleviate concerns with sludge build-up due to direct injection? Thanks!
The Hondas don't have the carbon build up problem. Only german cars have that problem.
Directly behind the PCV valve (back of the engine on the passenger side) is a 3/8 hose that leads down to the intake manifold. Put you catch can in line on this hose. There happens to be a bracket on the firewall right there you can mount your catch can on.
@@MrRangerZr1 thank you..i was worried!
Install catch can. czcams.com/video/fTHtfaqD6Qg/video.html
Gow do you keep your engine clean?
I was thinking of washing it but have doubts.
That link for the anti seize brings you to a nickel anti seize. While the one your using is aluminum. Does nickel work as well?
Yes copper as well.
How many miles will it take before that service indicator appears on your dash board? I could not find that indicator in your owners manual.
Here is what the owners manual says about when to change the spark plugs.
Service Code 4
● Replace spark plugs
● Replace timing belt and inspect water pump*4
● Inspect valve clearance
Usually that code comes up around 105k miles, the last 2 points are for the V6 engines.
Great video bud!
Thanks!
I used a pair of chopsticks to grab the spark plugs 😂
Dannysyaboi asain af my dude 🤣
Good idea. Wise one lol
I called a hooker lol
Question:
What foot pounds did you use to tighten the new spark plugs with torque wrench? Why did you use Anti seize on the sparkplugs instead dielectric grease?
16 lbf ft or just tighten it like i did. On the threads you use antisieze.
@@MrRangerZr1 I didn't see you use dielectric grease in the video even though it's listed. Where would you add it?
@@Flyingfast79 watch the video 10:27
@@MrRangerZr1just saw that part, thanks!
Great video, going to attempt this myself, have the tools. Dealership wants over $400 CAN to do this. Ridiculous. Any risks involved? Have changed spark plugs on my older vehicles on my own in the past, wondered if Honda was something special, since the dealership rate is so high?
That's why people call them stealerships. No risks involved, it's plain and simple just as I showed in the video.
What size was the one to remove the spark plug ? I couldn’t see it clearly ! Thank you
14mm
Are the spark plug sockets 14mm or 9/16"? The link is for SAE sockets, but the video shows using a 14mm socket. Looks like the 14mm is a better fit on the spark plugs?
You need to buy the metric set. Choose the metric option.
MrRangerZr1 Thank you
Thanks for this, perfect!
Wow no busted knuckles or swear words! Amazing👍
I lost the metal retainer clips for the splash shield, can someone tell me where to find them? Ty
Metal clips: 90674-TY2-A01 Plastic clip: 91501-TR0-003
Do you need to adjust the gap on new spark plugs before install?
No if you get the correct ones.
The cat was trying to help out😂😂😂😂
Great video. Thanks a lot.
You have a video on changing your brakes too ??? 😁😁
drchulo76 yess check the channel
Great video!!
Thanks!
Hi. Question. Do you have to gap them. When 1st time spark needs to be replaced. I Thank you
They come pre-gapped
Thanks for the video. Stupid question but are those pre gapped? Needing to change mine but haven't ordered the plugs yet. Dealership said I need to use only Honda plugs. I just looked in the owners manual NGK. Guess I should have looked there first sorry.
Dealership is wrong (not surprising)
It's the same product, you will pay a ridiculous amount just for their Honda labeling.
Links for the plugs are in the description.
Double check the gap before installing. They come pre-gapped.
@@MrRangerZr1 thank you
The cat is 😍 lol thanks for sharing.
What a great video without all the unnecessary jabber👍🏼👍🏼
Always good to have a cat helper as well😁
My bossman (my cat lol) passed away just a few days ago.
Was the star of the channel since I started my channel.
@@MrRangerZr1 I’m a cat guy and lost mine 5yrs ago.
