      I'm not defending pootin, but I think you're taking that out of context. When pootin said Russia had lost nothing, i believe he was referring to Russia's economy had lost nothing. But, I could be the one who understood it wrong.

      When the war broke out, I and many thought it was a small conflict because days leading up to the invasion. We got to see live footage of cities and town across Eastern Ukraine. 6 months into this conflict, many of those cities and towns are in rubbles.

    Even Russian sources have officially claimed 48,144 Russian soldiers killed in action by following compensation for family members. This number is probably higher because not all of the conscripts in Ukraine have families to notify.

    This is what happens when people listen to a clown . So the people who were against the war and being arrested in russian cities were right to try to stop the loss of life and now we see the result .       Many of the cops were sent to Ukraine to abuse the local population, but the army is retreating in Kharkiv and Kherson, leaving the cops behind, they are simply being slaughtered. For instance, 1,200 SOBR were formed in Crimea last month and sent to Kherson to help halt the offensive, they are already considered all dead by the Russian sources.

    According to documents from the Russian Finance Ministry who is responsible for payouts to families of killed servicemen of the RF they have made payouts to families of 48700 servicemen killed in action so far not including wounded.

      And they don't pay out without a corpse, so that number is well short. We've all seen how far a T-72 turret can fly - does anyone think any identifiable remains can be found of the crew of 3? I think it would be hard to find a more total and effective means of cremation.

      @@phillee2814 And then there are all those huge, spectacular detonations of ammo dumps. Those weren't just piles and piles of ammunition sitting in a field or warehouse. There were logistic workers there, dealing with shipping bills, requisition forms and maintaining inventories, unloading stuff from trucks, sorting it out to its allocated space, shifting it on to different trucks for it to go out. It's certain that there were Russian soldiers caught in at least some of those blasts, and they would have been literally blown into tiny bits in an instant.

    The tragic side of wars is that old men want war and young men fight for old men. Young men sacrifice their lives for old men's desire to do something that will make these old men look bigger than they are.

But this war is caused by sociopaths, people with the anti-social ambitions of hatred, vengenace, wrath, murder, theft, rape, torture, genocide, war. Putin has been a sociopath since youth, been smashing other cities all along (regardless of age). The perspective that fixes the problem is to disallow sociopaths and psychopaths any access to power.

    I have begun watching the channel STERNENKO. In Ukrainian but with English subtitles. I speed up the video to 1.25 to read it faster. Today is an excellent review of how the Russian propagandists are panicking and called one another "degenerates" when they compare the Ukrainian advance to the battle of Kursk. Highly recommended.

    45k deaths is a drop in the ocean compared to the estimated 8 to 10 million Russian soldiers killed in WWII. Stay strong Ukraine.

      The effects of the losses in WW2 can be felt even today. For Russia - or more accurately some regions of the RF - losing thousands of young men will have a negative impact on demographics, and those were looking pretty bleak before the war already.

      In ww2, Russia had to fully mobilize everyone for the survival of Russia as a whole. Now, Russia comes from a big baby shrink due to the soviet collapse. trying to mobilize every russian a la ww2 would be the collapse of the Putin regime.

    In military figures, wounded are usually far more prevalent than killed, often with a ratio of 10:1. So, if 50,000 are killed, it's not hard to do the math.

    Wait until the “special operation “ is totally crushed and these families wait for their loved ones to come home. When those loved ones never return and never contact the family.. is when they discover how many more thousands of deaths that Putin’s Russia hid from them with no cares about it.
