If I had a nickel for every time Owen Wilson played a character who was possibly bisexual, had a blue color scheme, and had a bunch of homoerotic scenes with a character with a red color scheme, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.
Fun fact: actual turkeys would not give a fuck about watching a Thanksgiving dinner. They would eat the turkey if you gave it to them. Birds are metal as fuck. As dinosaurs, they are the rightful rulers of this planet, they’re just letting us have a turn to be polite

Also this movie was very uncomfortably awkward with all the flexing and the girl birds lazy-eye thing

I barely remember the little girl adopting the blue turkey. I completely forgot it had a time travel plotline lol
This was the first animated movie I ever saw as a 10 year old who had trama from war and blood shed gun murder movies. The first movie I got to choose was a real life story of a girl and a dog in war and the one scene I remember was the main character(the women) peeing in a bush after drinking at a party and gets the police called and getting in trouble with her Sargent almost getting kicked out and then having sex 😀
I remember being in middle school and going on a field trip to the local movie theater to see this movie with the entire 6th grade class. Didn't like the movie back then, and it honestly is even worse as an adult omfg. Legit the only thing I liked about it was the homoerotic relationship between the main guy and the big, buff bird but even that sucked because all their chemistry went nowhere and he ended up with the "lazy-eye" girl on the end. 💀💩
I loved this movie so much. I realize it’s pretty stupid and..bad. But i still watch it for the nostalgia, i used to watch it during road trips when i was little along with better off dead.
Oh no i totally understand!! It was so fun and off the wall- if it grabbed my attention this much as an adult I just know younger me would've ate it UP
