There is no other members of bts other than Jimin, this is jimins solo stage performance and that was a back up dancer not RM.
Lie is in a minor chord, switches to major when Jimin sings caught in a lie. The major chord is a lie itself. Expertly composed. And expertly sung.
I got so incredibly excited when I figured that out. And then I watched the change in his dancing too - the entire style shifts with the key... Brilliant. Beyond brilliant.

Each solo song in the Wings album is related to the BU (aka Bangtan Universe, a fictional storyline that run throught some some MV) , specially the short films, so the lyrics of Lie fits to the fictional character played by Jimin but it's also related to Jimin himself, the struggles he faced, and we can feel the authentic emotions and pain. The Wings album revolves around the concept of Hermann Hesse’s novel, ‘Demian: The Story of Emil Sinclair’s Youth’, a coming of age piece that uses myths and references to follow the journey of a young boy to self-realization. One of the key points of this book is the importance of accepting the “dualism”, the idea of two opposing forces (maybe good and bad or truth vs fake) that are both necessary in life.
This idea is portrayed by Jimin’s solo where we see an inner fight between his two sides, his true and insecure self, and this mask that he created to face the world but is swallowing him up (as in the verse : the prey vs the snake) . It’s a complex song where metaphors, vocal and music composition details mix to vignette a cry for help.("caught in a lie" is the only line of the song in a major key (usually associated with happiness), while the rest of the song is in a minor key (usually associated with sadness, mystery, unease). So, the line "caught in a lie" is itself a lie amongst the rest of the song - the "happiness" is a lie) .
This song is a portrait of what struggling with your identity, insecurities and inner demons is. RM explained that Jimin used to blame himself for all the failures and shortcomings, having thoughts like “I’m not good enough, I can’t do this” and that he wrote the song reflecting that mentality. Knowing this reflective way of working to deliver an honest history is why this song is so important for so many ARMY. Jimin's journey to self love is so inspiring for a lot of us.
The choreography and interpretation is incredible too .Jimin seems to 'punch the beat'. Lie has been popular all through the years, being the most streamed solo song from the WINGS album. Now Lie by Jimin being refered to as a rite of passage for rookie idols, they cover LIE as a show of their vocal and dance capabilities, as the song is considered to be highly technical in both aspects.

You seem to be doing the solo songs for BTS, which is a good idea because you can see what each member brings to the group. Keep going with Jimin and then maybe Jungkook, which would complete the maknae line (the three youngest. Hyung line is the 4 oldest: Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and RM).
Good idea - it's a great way to get to know them each. And it's so cool that all of them are such accomplished soloists too. I'm proud of them all 💜

The BTS official youtube channel is called BANGTAN TV. It has their albums listed, with audios of all their unreleased songs. You should listen to the studio version of LIE.
I was trying to work out what ypur favourite vibe is... BTS cover all bases 💜 Another Jimin song you should listen to is Serendipity. Definitely listen to Jungkook's Euphoria, Jin's Epiphany and V's Singularity. They are some of the vocal lines solo songs.
